Gears!
Up until now, you could only customize your avatar with heads, t-shirts, hats, shirts, and pants. Gears take it a step further. These are new interactive items--like swords and tools--that are officially joining the Boomblox catalog today.
The very first batch of gears is live right now. Head over to the new Gears category in the catalog to check them out and start building your collection!
The Sky is Clear Again
Have you looked up in the sky lately? The big blue sky with the puffy clouds is finally looking a little less crowded. That is right! Eggstravaganza is officially wrapping up, and the skies are clearing.
If you jumped into a game during the event, you know all about the chaos. Eggs were raining down across Boomblox, and it was a total free-for-all to grab the eggs before someone else did!
Although, before we close the book on the hats, we need to have a quick talk about the Ticket Egg. Unfortunately, a few players decided to ruin the fun for everyone by cheating to farm tickets. Because of this, the payout for the Ticket Egg had to be heavily reduced to 1 Ticket per pick up.
We banned users for exploiting the event (especially the Ticket Egg), and we would like to remind everyone for future events that this is not an exploiting competition.
Now, onto the stuff: We had an awesome batch of eggs fall from the sky! If you have been living under a rock or just missed the drops, here is the lineup of eggs we hunted down in-game from newest to oldest:
L'uovo D'Arezzo Our final drop of eggs; It sounds incredibly fancy. It looks even fancier.
Purple Egg of True Colors A solid classic look for purple people!
Dumb Egg of Annoyance We all know that one guy-- And now you can wear his egg!
The QUASAR Egg It is emitting some strange cosmic energy; It is probably safe to wear on your head. Probably.
Parasite Egg of Swelling You might want to get that checked out… It looks like it is growing.
Confusing Egg of Wonder What does it do? Why was it here? We are not entirely sure either! It sure is wonderful, though.
Ticket Egg Touching this egg granted some tickets, but we had to be mindful of greed.
The Fated Return of the Boomblox Blog
Hey everyone! It's been a while, and a lot has changed since our last post. The circular studs have long since been replaced by square ones (Oh yeah, congrats on the branding!), tons of fun events have come and gone, there's been countless memorable moments, and we gained 21 brand new players.
