feel free to ignore but since you mentioned crossovers in the tag, maybe one of your glee ocs might get on with my mariana and/or what would your kat patterson think of my clara daniels?
Oh no! I'm always ready for crossovers! 👀 (If you ever get other ideas feel free to send an ask/dm me bc I will be always 👀👀)
Okay so. You're bringing up one of my main obsessions rn. I also have some ocs that I'm developing, but of the ones introduced:
Nate Simmons my beloved. They could bond over their amazing families! (I mean, Mariana doesn't have that many sisters and Nate is the oldest while Mariana is the "middle child" but whatever).
Maya Puckerman. I mean... she's a Puckerman. They could be like sisters! And ofc tell Noah that he's an idiot (affectionately) lol
Mirabelle Ryder. Don't ask me why, I just get vibes from them. (Also, get a little girlfriends vibes from them ngl 👀)
The only thing I know for sure is that Kat would be very interested. Like, she would do her sooo many questions! (Mostly about her ghost-vision tbh). She's amazing at annoying people so I hope Clara is a patient person, bc she could start asking questions like a three years old if she is in the mood (you know the kid-phase of "why?". Sometimes that's Kat)

MAYA’S STORY
Everyone knew that Ellis Puckerman and June Campbell were doomed from the start. However, that never stopped them from becoming involved with one another. During their honeymoon phase, everything was great, he was even happy when June became pregnant. Ellis claimed that he was going to be a supportive father, and June had no reason to doubt him since he already had a son. He was even there for the birth of their daughter and signed her birth certificate. They were truly living in bliss until Maya’s first day of kindergarten. He was smiling when he drove her to school, promising they can talk about her day when she came home. That talk never happened because he packed his bags and left that day. June didn’t even seem surprised. He was always leaving the house to get ‘milk,’ but would return the next day with no milk and a hangover. June kept quiet hoping that things would change, but all the hope in the world would not bring Ellis back to the Campbell household.
Being raised by a single mother wasn’t easy for Maya. Her mother’s attention was divided between working, dating, and having a social life. Maya was usually left with her grandmother or relatives. Maya believed that June didn’t have time for her anymore because she was the constant reminder of her failed relationship with Ellis. This caused her to act out for her attention. Getting in trouble, fighting, and arguing with teachers was her life throughout middle school. Before entering high school, Maya’s grandmother told Maya and June that they needed to get their acts together because she wasn’t going to be around forever. Her grandmother’s love allowed Maya to push past her parent’s issue, and hopefully become a better person.
Maya worked hard in high school to get decent grades, and to find clubs that interested her. It was mostly so that she could avoid her mother and her father whenever he remembered he had a daughter. She joined the drama club, glee club, the muckraker, and several community services. Her classmates always thought she was an overachiever and a workaholic, and that blended well with her sassy-sweet personality. Maya would lend a hand to anyone in need, but her temper was something that no one wanted to mess with. She’s the type to argue first, and ask a bunch of questions later. That has been a quality about her that has not changed since she was young, but it has help fuel her passion for journalism.
Maya loved being involved in the newspaper, and when it got defunded, she volunteered at the local Lima paper. She was only in charge of helping to put together the layout, but even that was a worthwhile experience for her. This inspired her to pick journalism as her major with a minor in theater. Maya was in drama club for four years, so she wanted to do something involving that while going to college. When she was picking colleges, Maya wanted to be close to her grandmom, but far away enough to have excuses for why she’s not coming home for the holidays. Since Maya’s relationship with her mother was still filled with tension, she decided that space was best for the both of them. That’s why when she got accepted to The University of South Dakota, she gladly took the opportunity for a fresh start.
Despite her parents not being together, Maya believes in true love. She is a hopeless romantic and a flirt, and this causes her to catch feelings very fast. She dated multiple people in high school and college, but these relationships would last about six months. Maya believes that she has not found her true soulmate. But, that doesn’t stop her from dating and hooking up with people until she finds the right person. And, she would never say no to a fun friend with benefits relationship when she’s not dating anyone.
Maya’s style is a mix of everything. She wears business casual clothes when she’s going to school or work events. But, she usually wears jeans and a nice flowy top to class every day. Her go-to outfit is an oversized hoodie with leggings. Whenever she is going out with her friends to dinner or an outing, she likes to wear a little black dress with a simple cardigan. Maya dyed her hair blonde one day when she was bored and then added some pink highlights to spice it up. She likes to wear her hair curly, but she will throw it in a bun whenever she’s running late to class.

Bio (Minimun two paragraphs): Maya Puckerman has always known that she was different from her family. From an early age, it became apparent that she wasn't exactly like her younger brother. While her family was alert and attending church, Maya usually found herself day dreaming about what all of her friends who's parents weren't religious could be doing. Her younger brother Jake always joked around that Maya wasn't a real Puckerman, and her younger brother's constant teasing lead to her almost obsessive need to find her real parents. Even if her parents hadn't told her she was adopted Maya knew she couldn't be a Puckerman, she just simply didn't fit in to her family.
In school, when she actually attended, Maya was always that girl that wasn't afraid to speak her mind and was often called a bitch for her sarcastic attitude. But if Maya lets you close enough to see the real her, you'll find out that she isn’t quite as bitchy as she seems. Maya eventually realized quickly that school wasn’t for her and dropped out of school at age sixteen. She really just didn’t care, claiming that she just didn’t like it, she wasn’t going to waste anymore time on it no matter what. Little did her parents know, but Maya had been in contact with many different adoption agencies and had finally found her birth parents. School seemed like all it was doing was holding her back. She got a part time job and planned on saving up enough money to meet her real parents.
The first real shock of Maya’s life came at her boyfriend-of-the-month’s birthday party. Both Maya and her boyfriend had drank more than they should have, and ended up sleeping together. She still isn’t convinced to this day that she completely agreed to sleep with him, but couldn’t do anything about it. A couple of months, and a few late periods, later Maya found out she was pregnant. When she told her then-boyfriend, he left her and their baby to take care of themselves. She never told her family about her boyfriend or her pregnancy, trying to hide both for the longest time. Eventually, Maya couldn’t hide it from her parents any longer, and her parents were furious with her for making this huge mistake. They couldn’t believe that their little girl could do something like that, and threatened to send Maya to Military School if she didn’t clean up her act. They tried to keep everything away from Jake, and Maya’s still not sure that Jake knows what their parents put her through.
Everything changed one night when Maya woke up with abdominal pain and soaked sheets. Her mom rushed her to the hospital while her father stayed at home with Jake. The doctors broke the devastating news that her baby wasn’t getting enough oxygen and her body had gone into early labor. Unfortunately, no matter what the doctors did they couldn’t save her baby. After the recovery period was over and Maya was sent back home, her parents enrolled her in Crawford Day Academy in Westerville knowing the school’s prestigious background and it’s reputation for producing well-behaved young ladies. Feeling guilty at not protecting her baby enough, Maya sank into a depression while a Crawford. She kept her grades up though, knowing how important it was to her parents and the school that she did. If the school didn’t suspect anything suspicious and her grades were kept up, Maya found out that she could get away with almost anything. Maya ended up graduating with a 4.0 GPA. She even found herself a boyfriend while at Crawford and they’ve been dating since Maya’s Junior year.
Maya’s best friend for the longest time has always been Tiffany Pierce. They've been inseparable since they met, and when Maya planned on moving to New York to find her real parents, Tiffany seemed like the perfect person to drag along with her. She hasn’t quite told the blonde yet the real reason they’re moving to New York, or everything that’s happened to her in the past. Maya knows that Tiffany won’t be happy with her, and can’t bring herself to ruin one of the last good things in her life by ruining her and Tiffany’s friendship, so she’s trying to keep it a secret for as long as possible.
Ships: Maya/Chemistry
Anti-Ships: Maya/No Chemistry
Endgame: shhhhh, it's a secret.
FC: Vanessa Hudgens
Notes: Was adopted by Jake Puckerman's mom at the age of two, but has been trying to get a hold of her birth parents for months now without much success. Also something about ice cream and gleeking out (which I always forget to do whoops).
Writing sample (minimum two paragraphs in character): Hey I just met you (well actually I met you about 8 months ago) and this is crazy (because I already have three characters and really don't need a fourth but like the kids say these days YOLO) but here's my app, so accept it maybe?
