Campbell: What the heck, Maya!
Too Soon II maya-cello-matlin
Becky slowed walked through the main hallway of Degrassi, feeling every single eye on her. But that was to be expected. She was Adam's girlfriend, after all. But she wished people would focus on her less, and think about Adam. When she reached her locker, she quickly opened it up and began taking out her stuff. Looking up into her locker mirror, she noticed Maya Matlin across the way, collectively doing the same thing as her. Becky had never really spoken with the girl, but she knew that she was Campbell's girlfriend before he died. Becky had remembered judging her when she walked into the halls of Degrassi, but now that she knew how it felt, she felt that she owed an apology to the little blonde girl. Quickly closing her locker, and walking across the hallway, she approached the girl, and stopped her quickly before she left. "Maya!" Becky enunciated, without the cheerful little spark she had before, "I just wanted to apologize, for how I treated you. I judged you after last years incident, and now that I know how it feels, I know that I shouldn't have," Becky looked behind her to see dozens of eyes on her, "those eyes, they're so /critical/. Like they expect you to act a certain way. I hate it. I had no idea how hard this would be."
