I have a mysterious gluten intolerance too!! Sibling is Celiac and I stopped getting migraines when the family went GF and ended up cutting it out of my diet. I also can't handle high fructose corn syrup. Human bodies are weird. What was that about B2 deficiency?
don’t quote me on the B2, but I’m pretty sure that after my doc prescribed me B2 as a supplement I read that in developed countries the deficiency is rare because grains are fortified with B2. I stopped eating bread a while ago, so there was a chance I could be deficient—tho, according to blood tests, doesn’t look that way.
I came to my doc complaining about migraines, and since I avoid gluten as is, my doc recommended magnesium malate and vitamin b2. I’m not sure what the B2 was about, unless it was the light sensitivity part of the headaches and the exhaustion, but the magnesium seems to be directly associated with inexplicable near-daily headaches.
and, based on my last—entirely unintentional!—experiment, the magnesium is totally necessary in my life.
