The Core caused a drought in much of the underground, mainly the current Sandtown, being completely destroyed, the monsters have to survive in a hot desert at the expense of the Oasis (Waterfall).
Blard is a great worker who daily travels through the sand storm to the Oasis for supplies, and in the nights he guards to protect the inhabitants from the dangerous amalgams.
