any scenario where the reader ended up in a relationship with a guy relatively harmlessly and Then realizes how obsessive the dude is makes me feral (like bfb!quinn stealing all those jersey of her brothers -- does he throw them or or does she find them much later? this scenario can't apply to him cause he's Captain Obvious from day one, but yknow what I mean, examples)
and he's literally asleep next to you in bed when you're going over the evidence. like why does he have the exact same kind of toys as you when yours are DEFINITELY still in your apartment. How did he get you that item that you left in cart online shopping... surely thats a coincidence, he just knows you so well! but. how does he know that. you never mentioned it... What the fuck?? girl the notes app 🔎
The false sense of security you have with him...
+ Everything is normal for the most part. He's always been attentive—too attentive by some of your friends standards—and willing to meet you in the middle on most things. He's sweet and gets along with pretty much everyone in your life and makes a concentrated effort to balance hockey and you
+ But you get the sense he wants to be more serious than you do. Two months in, he's talking about lining up your leases to end around the same time (or one of you can break your lease! Most likely you since his apartment is nicer but he can be flexible <- is lying). You laugh it off, citing that you guys can revisit in a few months and the smile he gives you is so off-putting
+ Things start to break down in your apartment. And though you've never seen any rats, some of your appliances look as if they've been chewed through. You contact your landlord and they gets things fixed up, equally as puzzled bc you're in a newly renovated unit. A couple of your things end up ruined too (and coincidentally, none are things your bf has bought you but that's neither here nor there)
+ You start to say over at your bf's place bc it's just easier to wait for your landlord to do a full inspection and have it take a few weeks than to constantly move back and forth between apartments. Living with him is nice at first and it's not long before you get used of his little quirks and habits
+ But sometimes, you start to wonder. Because he has copies of certain things you know you've never left out in the open. And you don't want to accuse him of snooping but it's just weird right? You can know a person but knowing them this well...?
+ There's an open phone policy between you two so you don't even feel bad when you unplug his to search through it. His search history is on par for what you'd expect. You almost don't go to his notes bc whatever, you believe in some privacy. But what's a little peek...
+ You get much more than you bargained for, that's for sure
