24.8.Thoughts.
- Hold a secret
- Try something new out each day, eg: honesty
- Being on stage is good for your ego
- Wear whatever you want to. Be the Queen of yourself.
- See a counsellour every now and then. Be casual about it- “just popping in for a chat”. See it as self-care, or stress management.
- Stay on top of work that you have to do, see it as meltdown prevention. Stress gives you pimples.
- Read everyday.
- Write.
- Learn a new skill, it’s fun and it shields you against Alzheimers
- Go op-shopping. It’s affordable and fun.
- Always pay rent and buy groceries the day you get paid.
- You have been sad for long enough, now. Try being grateful.
- Do things without shame, afterward.
- Make the first move.
- There will come a time, very soon, when you don’t feel hungover.
- Do fun/ interesting things- you will have a lot more to talk about.
- Give yoga a whirl.
- Watch less tv. Talk to your flatmates. Go for a walk.
- Tune into yourself. Check in. Be aware of how your body and mind feel, and what they need. Don’t switch off habitually.
- The kind of life you live directly affects your ability to be interesting.
- Take more pictures.
- Play with art.
- Get rid of things you don’t need- in both the physical and emotional worlds.
- Don’t have friends who turn your success into a negative thing.
- Clean your room.
- Exercise.
- Learn new words.
- You’re a fucking weirdo. Own it. Wear it like a badge.
