Deep breath. There will be a return
Letters
Dear X,
I am idle. My ideas seep from me; all this content I've collected to serve a purpose, to build the mind's echo chamber of awareness. Wearied by shallow pleasantries. Lack of depth. Pretense of depth. Judgement of what qualifies as sincere. The unexpected; reasons to look forward to--the future. There are paths. No matter how often my mind travels along them, I again-and-again feel the elation of the familiar. And the new: the change. The gradual. And I am in motion again; I know not how or when. I lose and I gain and nothing prepares me. I cannot understand. And I sense in myself a shift towards neutrality. Weighed by exhaustion; to control each piece and anticipate each move. I have lost some resolve. Something is less. And . . .
Yours,
