It’s day 29 of the #mayformakers2022 challenge and tonights spotlight is on 2021 memory. This week, one year ago was my very first pop up show alongside @thebronxventure I was nervous, scared, unsure of myself. It was also the first time I had really been around the general public en masse since the Rona bitch slapped the world into their corners for a long time out. But I hustled. I grinded. It’s day 25 of the #mayformakers2022 challenge and todays spotlight is on “5 years from now” I hugged my boys a little tighter today, made sure they know I love them. Because You never know. Unless You’re a Soldier on the field or Law Enforcement, you never anticipate that one day may very well be your last. But it happens. Just like that. From Churches, Concerts, Christmas Parades, Schools, Subways, or just walking down the block of your own neighborhood. Just like that. This world is metastasizing into something that has become so clouded to me. So when I think of 5 years from now, it’s not a goal anymore, it’s a hope. Because it can happen. It happens. Yesterdays Day 19 was about #Evolution and Todays Day 20 is Note to Self Aside from my dining table of Westeros, this piece is one of my original favorites. The definition of Evolution reads as follows: The gradual development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form. These past two years in this journey have been filled with tomes of knowledge. I truly wouldn’t be where I am now without the help of so many people. Too many to name but they know who they are.
