Today was definitely a day to remember.
The great surprise first thing in the morning was a local fisherman I bumped into giving me these small Japanese spiny lobsters!
They were fresh from the ocean -- still alive -- but too small to be on the market, so he gave them to me for free!

Then at night, for the first time in my life, I made these dishes with fresh spiny Japanese lobsters! My culinary instructor was, of course, Youtube! LOL
Above two dishes are what I made for dinner for my parents.
The above 2 dishes were my late night snack which I enjoyed with ...
Sake,
and.....
gin tonic! ♬
Boy, Japanese spiny lobster sashimi was just HEAVENLY!!!!! I’ve never ever eaten such sweet sashimi before. And sake definitely enhances the delicate sweetness of sashimi. Ah....!!.
