You know I’m not typically a fan of these three as a poly couple cause it’s usually played as a sexual thing or something and I’m a hardcore WrightWorth shipper, but I LOVE the ace/aro dynamic these three have and I think it’s just beautiful! I’d love to see a mini comic about Miles learning he’ll be a godfather, and starts really bonding with Maya, like being there when she’s pregnant and Phoenix is just torn between “this is so cute” and “what is my life now”.

As for this scenario, that sounds so cute and incredibly fun to think about--maybe it could be another au! However, the events of the au's story, Edgeworth took a little bit to be involved with the family directly--but he watched Phoenix and Maya from afar ever since they took the plunge into having children together.
That being said, Edgeworth and Maya did begin to bond as coparents after Mia was born. Edgeworth already started visiting Phoenix somewhat regularly to help take care of Gregory, because Trucy had taken her show on the road and he noticed Phoenix was having a tough time being on his own and with a toddler. Maya doesn't live with Phoenix but she did stay with him for a couple months during her maternity leave when Mia was born. Edgeworth noticed that they were exhausted from taking care of the new baby along with Gregory, so he decided to spend all his time outside of his job to help out during Maya's stay--mostly by keeping Gregory occupied so Phoenix and Maya could focus on the new baby...
I think it's safe to say Phoenix had those "this is so cute" and "what is my life now?" thoughts!
