I’m seriously considering getting a cart and making a second town, though. it would be a more relaxed place, a forest town without any path patterns or giving much of a crap about where move-ins put their houses. idk, it would be fun to have a second set of villagers to love and whatnot, you know?

I’m so so soooooooooooooo relieved that the dream address has been made at last, though, no more stressing and anxiously awaiting a rainy night, it’s DONE.

now I have the rest of spring, all of summer, and most of fall to prep for the update (I’m thinking November, when the leaves are red). I have some plans already for different rooms that will be more seasonal (and already have the unbuyable sets for them, thank goodness: NO MORE RNG RAGE AND QUESTS OF ENDLESS FRUSTRATION, I just have to raise money to get the Gracie set in summer) and relax. I’ll get some orange pansies and find cool patterns to replace the ones all over town now, and I’m thinking of letting Rocket leave and getting Pashmina instead. (Kind of wish I’d let her leave months ago and put my Fire Festival somewhere else so I could’ve kept Diva. oh well, what’s done is done.) if I was willing to let someone else go I’d get a jock in (I met a jock frog in a dream town the other night and I really took to him for some reason, if I ever make a second town, HE MUST BE MY JOCK), but I love everyone else too much and I don’t want to be without an uchi. I’ll have to demolish my instrument shelter so I can put up a cheap temp. streetlamp to ensure that my Festival area doesn’t get ruined when a newbie moves in, but I’m not attached to the thing anyway. I’ll figure out what to permanently replace it with at some point.

I really am so relieved, though. now all I have to do is a little more gardening (namely, plant more trees and bushes and figure out where to put those carnations), customize a piece of furniture, and then wait for the right weather and lay out everything.

I time-traveled last night to see if I could get the suggestion before bed. I spent THREE GODDAMN HOURS doing the diving trick, and got all of three pings from Olaf, none of which were the suggestion. meanwhile I had to endure ping after ping after FUCKING PING from Lolly and Joey asking me the same pointless shit questions over and over. and now I'm trying again and my first ping from Olaf in almost an hour IS THE SAME FUCKING QUESTION HE ASKED ME TWICE LAST NIGHT. FUCK. THIS. SHIT.

and my back still hurts and I've got Parks and Rec on while I do this and I just wanted to cry when they showed the actual Stonehenge on there because FUCK I AM SO FUCKING SICK OF THIS BULLSHIT.

also bullshit? the thing people say about "after you've been playing for an hour talk to a villager to get the message about looking tired and then the very next one to see you will ping you". nope. NOT true. it CAN happen that way, but not always. in this frustrating as fuck quest to get this ONE goddamn PWP suggestion, I have had the game have Olaf NOT ping me when I did that so very carefully, but instead assigned one of the others to ask me some pointless fucking bullshit thing I don't give two shits about. because this game hates me.
