Happy August peeps!  Time to get back to just being grateful (well, there will be song lyrics and quotes along the way, so never fear!)  Today I am grateful for my employer and their summer hours!  We closed at noon today so bonus weekend time!  Although before heading out, we had to attend a quick event with Milwaukee's Mayor Tom Barrett.  Mayor Barrett has challenged himself and the city to walk 100 miles in 100 days.  I love it and it fits directly with the AHA's mission. So today he invited the Milwaukee AHA office to walk with him.  It was a great little afternoon walk and I was thankful to have been in town to attend.  I also got to grab a selfie with one of the nicest mayors out there. So for my super-awesome job and our pretty awesome Mayor, I am grateful.
