Okay, so after Pantheon, I wanted to try another animated sci-fi, so I picked Steins;Gate because I've heard it's a must-watch among sci-fi anime. I'm like three episodes in, and, like...

I KNOW this will be one of these "screenshots taken ten seconds before disaster" posts. I KNOW the veterans of this show are probably laughing at me through tears, but I'm still gonna say it. It's imperative for my well-being that this lil airhead stays safe, happy and gets 100 of those vending machine toys she was collecting in the first episode.

Tutturu~ It's Mayushii☆ The epitome of moe, in my humble opinion.

Sweet, whimsical girl that everyone likes. Her unconditional love towards her friends is very wholesome. When Mayuri openly expresses her support and loyalty to the resident tsun-tsuns (Rintaro & Kurisu), it is cute to see them awkwardly but appreciatively accept it.

While an airhead, Mayuri is emotionally mature and perceptive. I loved how her backstory as Rintaro's childhood friend explored their bond. It adds gravitas to the story and her personal arc. They are important to eachother and I think her story shows how it is good to treasure what you already have. Maybe reaffirm it sometimes.
