Good evening everyone. With all that’s been going on as of late, I thought I’d take this opportunity to get real with y’all. Approximately 6 days ago, my cousin Melissa, on my dad’s side of our family, passed away in her sleep. She simply went to bed and never woke up. Melissa had health problems for the longest time, just like her mother (my aunt) so it was no surprise that it would happen one day. But I was still devastated to hear the news. Whenever I chatted with her, she was always kind and upbeat. Now that she’s gone, I’m starting to feel her departure more heavily now. The pics featured are of the very last thank you card Melissa ever sent me. When I first got it, it really touched my heart and I’ve keep it close by my side ever since. The moral of my story: treasure the time you have with your loved ones. Be they friends or family, just make your time with them count.
