sometimes, when mammon is sleeping, he’ll cuddle his pillow because the feeling of having something in his arms is comforting
i agree... boy is touch starved :(
is anyone going to go and hug him ? no ? ok... :(
open for a surprise nobody asked for
nozomi snuck into the dark room at 2 am, making sure to be as stealthy as possible.
she hadn’t realised that her gaming session with levi had taken that long, really, it wasn’t her fault. the third born had been getting progressively angsty about her constant victories against him. the flashbacks of levi’s gamer rage made her smile as she undressed, getting ready for bed.
but she had promised mammon she would be there soon. that had been four hours before.
so, it was no surprise for her to find him sleeping his ass off.
his boxers were the only piece of clothing he had bothered to keep on. his rings and earrings had been taken off, one leg sticking out of the (almost) discarded blanket. he was deep in slumber, holding a pillow to his chest tightly. it was a somewhat endearing sight to her. the obscurity prevented her from seeing his face and messy hair in detail.
what a shame, she thought to herself.
whether she leaned in to kiss his cheek softly or not, no one needed to know.
as she squeezed in, struggling to obtain her own spot on the bed, with mammon taking up a third of it, it felt like the pillow was mocking her as it sat comfortably settled in her demon’s arms while she fought for space. it was her fault, she should have been there sooner. growing frustrated with the lack of space, nozomi barely even noticed when the second born started stirring, disturbed by her constant fidgeting.
“what the fuck are you doin’, human... ?” his hoarse voice startled her. he was clearly still engulfed in a sleepy haze as he rubbed his cheek softly on the pillow.
“i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to wake you up.” she apologized, rolling over to face him. his eyes were already closed again.
“pfff... yeah, thanks for that. i was having the best dream... ya know, one where you weren’t staying up with dumbass levi so late.”
ah, there it is.
nozomi rolled her eyes with a little smile, disappointed that she couldn’t see his blue and golden ones.
“well, sorry. but i’ll have you know i kicked his ass enough that he’s probably crying on his server right now.”
“oooh, that’s my human right there!” a smile grew on his lips.
they shared a laugh, and nozomi attempted to subtly move the pillow out of her way. the white haired demon felt it sooner than she’d hoped thanks to his sharpened instincts and only pulled it closer protectively, misunderstanding her intentions.
“oi! don’t you dare steal my pillow.”
“that’s not-”
“get your own pillow.”
“mammon-”
“aaaah, don’t wanna hear it, get your-”
she cut him off with a flick on his forehead, effectively stopping him from moaning and complaining. his eyes snapped open and he was greeted by the sight of his human throwing him a disapproving stare.
“i don’t want your stupid pillow, dumbass. i barely have any room to move, that’s all!” she pointed out, gesturing her hand vaguely across the bed. “besides... that’s my place.” her gaze fell on the cursed pillow... if his vision served him well enough.
“your place?” he asked in confusion.
the only answer he got was a suggestive wiggle of her eyebrows.
her place? what-
oh. she meant in his arms, didn’t she? no... she couldn’t have... or maybe yes, she could. he felt himself blushing as soon as realisation settled in, his tsundere instincts taking over. does she have no shame?!
“w-w-well... you- you weren’t here, first of all!”
with his guard down, nozomi could grab the resented object easily. she threw it across the room aimlessly, quickly taking its place and sneaking into mammon’s arms faster than he could think. with how close they were, mammon couldn’t miss the victorious smile on her face, and he felt his heart skip a beat.
“well, i’m here now. you don’t need a pillow to hug anymore.”
he was doomed.
