This was art I did for a final in my painting class during college. I wanted work on a piece that combined certain strengths I had in traditional and digital mediums. The background was painted with acrylics on canvas while the characters were added in digitally.

This scene is depicting on of my original characters hunting down a human. His name is Astrophel, who's a shapeshifting alien that disguises himself as a deer sometimes. He belongs in the same universe of my original work/project, Transmutation, but has no connection to the overarching story.

Creature design studies/challenges... featuring my original alien species that I don't want to give the names for just yet. They exist within my Transmutation project though. Anyway, I was basically drawing from animal photos but making them my aliens merely to study animal markings.
