Ok so i had this idea, you know how all of the archonds and some characters are supernatural beings, and the twins are LITERALL aliens on tyvat? Dp you know the game voices of the void, is about simulating workong in a observatory in a forest FULL of supernatural shit. And aliens. I think you see where this is going.
MC gets out of the bus infrotn of an empy boot gate into a path to her new job, it was about managind a space investigation center surrounded by satelites and equiped to be self sufficient.
Honestly not the job MC expected when she ended up her carrer in mechanic and electronics, but nessesity doesnt let you be picky, and the paid and job is REALLY good, no horary? I can fo the job at my pace? Sign her the frick UP!.
Plus she wasnt completly isolated, there was a town at 1 hour trip, where she just could go unwind for a while if she really was feeling homesick.
After reaching the primary building it was..... a messs, trash all around, the loghts barely working, and the refrigerattor completly empy.
"Yesh, they could atleast have cleaned this place for me" said MC before droping his thing in a (relativly) cleaner bed, ans started to clean the place pull up the generators and sroped on nasha town to buy some groceries, also meeting some locals like nefer and lisa.
Adter that MC took a moment to breath and finally turned on the computer in the center of his work station and readed the emails from her boss.
'Hey, welcome to your new job we are gonna start you whit something basic, just send us some basic level 0 siganls to make sure everiithyng is working, also, you ar egonna have to pay for any extra upgrades you are gonna need just a heads up -asmoday-'
So after that (and fumbling about 1 hour whit the eqipement) MC pracrically finish the day sending 4 signals and learning to use the radar in the room.
'Why would i even need a radar in a space observatory???'mussed MC as she finally drop sleep.
The next month was uneventfull, MC spend his time wandering around t site when she has nothing left to do, she was currently taking a swim in the lake simply floating face up at the sky.
"Man, i could lobe here forever i should visit nasha town this weekend thoug, this place can be kinda dull" said MC to no one.
*NYYYYYYYYUUUUUMMMMMM!*
MC get the scare of her life at the water on the lake suddenly shacking willdly, when she comes back to surface, she oly caught a glimpse of something rapidly dessapearing into the forest.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" says MC as she quickly put her clothes, and walks back to base.
When she arrives she checks the radar and for the moment there is nothing, but timestamos show that something quickly appeared and dissapeared at the border of the forest.
"..... should i check?..... nope, i am just gonna ig ire it until it becomes relebant." Said MC to herself
So she get back to work, now checking the radar in her pffice in case more aliens wanted to drop by, fortinatly no other aliens wanted to crash on her site..... thoug she did semi meet her new neighbors when she saw fire in the distance and in a moment of panic thinking the forest was burning itself she drive there qhit the fixes 4 welled motorcycle and a fire exringuisher..... only to find a camo and a treehouse.
"....... at least give a heada up god dammit" said MC as she put the campfire out and leabes a bote that read. 'Dont let fire unatended >:('
She wake up next day to an alien note saying 'sorry :('.
"Well atleast they are polite" thoug MC as she got back to work.
Meanwhiel in mote hidde parts of the forest.
"Have you seen the new himan?" Asked the wind fae to the earth snake.
"Yes, i am surprised they still tried to use this place after what happend to the others" said the earth snake.
"Humans are stturbon by nature" said the thunder yokai.
"Should we do something about her?" Asked the spirit pf the forest
"Now now, i know the last human was not..... pleasent. But we should give this one a chance before delivering a veredict" said a water spirit, raising from the water, a more small shy one floating close behind.
"I give her a week more at most" said the sun, or well, something that shine it like it.
"Thats stupid...... i give her 4 days, if she is lile the other humans is gonna get herself killed triying to talk whit whatever fell from the sky" ansered an ice fae.
"Lets just agree to see for now, how is gonna tell the witches?" Said finally the wind spirit.
"I think they already know.... or well one of hem does" pointed the forest spirit into the distance, where a big, round a fluffy creature whit an overzized hat sat in the distance, looking at the work place of MC, her tail twotching in curiosity.
"Lets see how much she last." Said the ice fae before dissipating, the others oding so as well.
MC was gonna have some interesing neigbors.
Had to look up the game, but I get what you're getting at. I like the idea, and get the feeling MC is going to have a interesting time with her 'neighbors'.
