Ok i had a weird idea for a RWBY MC.
So you know the geist? The grimm whit ghost like nature that can posses inerthed things? Yeah what about an geistMC basically.
He just go to sleep one day having a terrible fever and wake up as a grey.... ghost thing? Honestly MC dindt really know what he was dor sure, only that he is most definitly death if the missing half of his body was something to go by.
So he lived a LOT of time as this ghost thing he eventually learned to posses things, he also did tried to get along whit her fellow ghost or geist as he heard from a human...... they dont really talk much thoug, and have a lot of anger issues, they loved to atack humans and faunus just because.
One day he was floating throug a forest looking for something to do, when she heard the creaking os a mall cart, he followed the sound to find a pair of kids in the middle of the forest, he followed from a distance not announcing his presence for obvious reasons.
Then MC saw how the beowolves were starting to surround the pair of kids, so he decided to act, possesing a falling tree and starting to smash and bash to pblivion the grimm.
The two girls looked in amazement at MC as he abbandoned the tree and made himself know.
"That was so cool!" Said yang exited.
Before MC could say anithyng he heard footstep aproaching so he dissapeared into the forest, maybe it was fate or simply luck but MC and yang and ruby always bumped into eachother when he is visiting that specific forest, eventually he just stays there period because they keep goong out to find him and he doesnt want them to get hurt.
"Look! Look! We made you a body so you can come love whit us" said exited a small ruby.
MC thinks about it before saying to himself (since he doesnt have a mouth) 'eh, freak it why not?'and effectibly MC can posses the small doll, is a badly made one but it does work.
So he has been living right under 2 ex-husband noses and being babysitter to ruby and yang, then the day come when they go to beacon..... and drag MC whit them.
"Hold up i dont sign for this?!" Said MC to yang, he eventually moved to a more mechanjcal well made small doll made by ruby hands.
"Awww~ come on ypu would be lonely whitout us" said yang teasong into her backpack.
"Well maybe.... but woulndt you be in trouble from bringind a GRIMM into a HUNTSMAN school?" Asked MC in a whisper nervious.
"You loved under the noses of 2 ex-retired huntsman, one being the very best, you will be fine" said ruby.
"...... point taken" said MC as he hide in yang backpack.
And so the 3 now loved in beacon, and everithyng was fine..... well exepct that blacke semmed to be on MC.
"If you stared at the doll more it is gonna melt." Said weiss.
"........... something is wrong whit this doll i know it" said blake poking MC, how remains as still as a stone.
Weiss eventually joined blacke in suspition, not towards MC doll but towards the sisters, as she will ocasionally catch them talking whit MC which is infantile in he rmind..... but they, specially ruby refuses to leave the doll alone, and she is sure to catch them talking to just plaon air one time.
"This is an intervencion, be honest and no offence, ¿are you two clinically insane?" Asked weiss seriously along whit blacke and team JNPR during a break in an abbandoned clasrrom.
"I catch you talking to air one time, and ruby refuses to leave that doll of you two alone for more thatn 5 mi utes" said blacke.
"Now thta just rude" said jaune.
"Hey! He responds" says ruby.
"My point exactly" said weiss.
"To be fair even if we tell you you wont beloeve us" said yang relaxed.
"Test me" said weiss crossing her arms.
"We actually are friends whit a geist that save us when we were little and he is loving in the doll" said yang.
"..... you are not belie-"
"No i am not, that is just stupid. A GRIMM saved you? Right, and the moon is whole" said weiss scoffing.
"Ohhhhh! Can you show us? Show us! Show us!" Said nora exited.
"Weiss have a point its to hard to believe" said ren calmly.
After a mkment both ruby and yang excused themselves for a bit, then they came back whit the doll in hand and put it in the center of them.
"Alright, just dont freak out." Said yang as she gently tapped the doll.
Before weiss could call yang bluf, the loghts started flickering and electronics failong, then MC started to crawl put of the doll like a brothers dammed monster worthy of an horror movie, then he was fully out he loomed above the group floating in place......
Then he waved his hand happily at the group.
"Tada! Met MC best ghost in remmant!" Said ruby exited.
Jaune and weiss fall uncouncious out of fear and blake nails were diggind into the wood so hard they were bleeding.
"Was the flickering lights too much?" Signaled MC to yang.
"I thonk the looming over them was what didi it" said yang whit a laught.
Meanwhile throig the security cameras ozpin wa spondering about this new unexpected develoment.
"This year truly is most interesing" said as he sipped his coffe.
Geist!MC already sounds like a fun MC! Him already being longtime friends with Ruby and Yang, while also having been their ghostly Grimm babysitter as well, makes for interesting start.
I will say I'm impressed he managed to hide from both Taiyang and Qrow. I can already imagine Qrow's face if he finds out about Geist!MC, which he is, cause Ozpin is most likely gonna tell him when he has time.
Sides that, I can already see Geist!MC being both team RWBY and JNRP's babysitter in an exasperated, fond way. Like WHY do you kids keep getting into trouble?
