-> definitely seeing other people’s beautiful creations inspire me! but i also can envision how i want a gif to look when i’m giffing a certain scene. i also pick up on certain styles and techniques as well :)

the most notes a graphic / gif of yours has ever gotten. (link it!) oh god lmfao. it’s this one, the crowley as raphael gifset. i both love and hate this gifset bc i’m proud of it, it’s pretty and vibrant w a color i never use. but it also made the crowley as raphael theory fucking infamous and accepted as fanon and got me a whole crowd of people that hate my guts and so much bullshit from the fandom about how stupid i am for liking this so it’s all very tiring. but hey at least it’s pretty????

give us a quick explanation of how you make a graphic / gif? i download the media Very Legally, screencap it with kmplayer load the caps in photoshop cc, crop the frames, change the size, sharpen the gif, add a curves layer, add a brightness/contrast layer, add a vibrancy layer, add a color balance layer, add a bunch of selective colors, and if i’m doing a solid color one i add some gradient layers and fuck around with those, if i’m doing one with words then i make a text layer. then i save the gif, open it up again, change the framerate, and delete any extra frames if the gif is too large for tumblr
