Some photos of my workspace from yesterday! I rearranged my room and got a succulent for it as well :) Plus this week I'm heading out for my family vacation so I'm super excited! I'll be throwing photos up on my instagram (rewati_swimusic) and my main Tumblr (rayrayswimusic) I still have to name my succulents (my sister and I name plants okay we're special xD) Any suggestions? I’m finally starting the studyblr I’ve been meaning to make for about two months now!
Even with university being done for the year, I’m prepping for my MCATs!! So here are some of my biology notes I was writing yesterday :)
I definitely recommend a candle while studying! It can get hot true, but a soothing scent is awesome, plus sometimes warmth helps calm you down when stressed right? ;)

It’s July 1st so time to start the challenge! I don’t usually study on the weekends during summer, but I have been meaning to work on my flute playing! I’ve been playing for 10 years now so I absolutely adore it!
The list on my ipad is just a way for me to keep a track of how many pieces I’m working on. I haven’t had a chance to add in my other genres of music yet

So today was a hodgepodge of stuff to do! I was finishing editing my bullet journal for a couple hours in the morning (I’m not a huge fan of pink but the journal is a deep pink colour so I went with the scheme for the month :D)
Then was of course a bunch of studying to be done! DNA replication is nothing new but it’s always a good refresher. I had forgotten that topoisomerases exist :D so I was completely sure only helicase split the DNA helix into single strands, but no, the topoisomerases help with the increasing tension in the areas upstream and downstream :D so a good thing to know ofc!
Also last night I was reading up on BMD (Becker Muscular Dystrophy) and wow…it’s both a fascinating disease and horrifying one :( All types of muscular dystrophies are awful.

Oh gosh I forgot to post this yesterday!!! It's just my usual studying, focussing on mutations! There's a lot of mutations possible in our DNA that always affect the genotype but sometimes affect the phenotype as well. I mean sometimes it's helpful because it drives evolution but it can also cause cancer :(
