MCB Deep Bite x Reader
• Working on a supply run list, the chatter from the bots spills into you and it’s strange that you’re already so comfortable with the noise and chaos of them. That you don’t think of them as other or alien anymore. Glancing over as Musclehyde laughs at something Buffalo Crush just said, you realize one’s missing. Scanning the large hangar, you set your list aside and stretch. Most of the bots hang out in groups, but you’re definitely missing one.
• Face tipped up toward the sky, his optics shutter feeling the sun warming his plating as his tail curls against the outside of his thigh, the blade-like fin at the end tapping against his knee. Scents you before he hears the soft sound of your steps and his head turns to watch you. “Everything okay?” You ask as your back slides against the metal wall when you sit beside him. And he has no idea how to explain that he doesn’t really belong here. That the others are still uncomfortable or outright frightened of him. That they just see a monster. Staring at his clawed servos, he nods anyway.
• “Just enjoying the sun,” he says, voice cheerful and you stretch out your legs as you study his profile. Unsure how to tell him that you’re worried about him. That you’ve noticed him lingering at the edges of the other groups, looking like he wants to say something, to belong. Before just walking away. Or the way he stiffens and then plays it off with a laugh when one of the other bots comments on his appearance. Reaching out slowly, your fingers grip one of his sharp servos and he lets you pull his big hand to yourself.
• Frozen as you play with his servos like you’re curious about how his joints work, all he can think of is how soft you are. That you might accidentally hurt yourself touching him. “Careful,” he says, voice dipping to a worried rasp. And you press your palm against his, your hand so tiny as your head tilts slightly while you study the dichotomy of his metal flesh and your softness. Realizes he’s leaning toward you even as he knows he should pull away. That anything as fragile as you are isn’t meant for bots like him.
• Looking up, his face is right there, optics staring at your hand in his. And you reach up to smooth your hand against the lower half of his face, a fingertip tracing the sharp, jagged lines. Recognizing the hunger in his stare, the loneliness. Because sometimes even when you’re surrounded by the others, you feel alone, like your own voice is lost. Like no one’s listening because you’re not like them. You’re the one that’s other. Know it’s all in your head, but you cant shake that feeling sometimes. His head brushes yours as a rumbling growl thrums through you where you’re touching him, the noise alien but not frightening. Eyes closing you press your mouth against his face as a big hand cups against you and cradles you close. “You don’t scare me,” you whisper.

Like, it makes sense for them to know each other. They're both outlaws and Black Hook is a pirate ship, even if he can fly I can see him in the ocean
Anyway, this was just a way of me saying I think it would be funny if their history with each other was Deep Bite biting Black Hook. If it was most definitely Black Hook's fault it happened though
