Soot's senses have been a bit screwed thanks to his time in limbo sitting near a loud train. Sure, he's not as bad as Blue, far from it actually, but there's enough where it is noticeable.

Sometimes Soot will walk around feeling different things in the house so he can make sure he remembers what their texture is like and that he actually still feels them. If Ozy notices him doing this, he'll often help find unusual textures, or just keep him company.

Sometimes Soot will say, "HEY WATCH THIS" before downing a handful of salt. It's a 50/50 chance on whether or not he'll choke on it, or if he'll even taste it. If its the latter, General will often make him something to wash away the horrid flavor, and if its the former he'll preform the heimlich maneuver on him.

Sometimes Soot's tinnitus gets incredibly loud, and at times like that, Teufor won't leave his side, whispering him sweet nothings whenever it will help and holding him close either way, sometimes even just sitting in his lap.

It's the little things that count.

The few times the 'burs have been able to go to the beach, its been night normally, but there was one time where they were able to go during the day.

During that day, Soot, Teufor, Ozy and General spent a majority of the time building sandcastles, or rather Teufor built sandcastles while the other three ate sand nearby.

"They used to call me sand daddy, you know." He remarks at one point, and its one of the very few mentions of his past life he's ever given out while in a good mood.

Soot nearly chokes to death on his mouth of sand.

Is the ocean soup ?

Ishmael: What? Of course n-

Teufor: Yes. It is. Bec, agree with me here.

Ishmael: It's not a-

Bec: No no I think Teufor has a point.

Ishmael: What-

Teufor: Soups are like- warm and cold, and full of meat and veggies right? Guess what else is.

Ishmael: Soups are edible, the ocean is not.

Bec: Are you sure? I think its theoretically edible.

Teufor: Yeah actually, if you had enough men.

Bec: So many men.

Teufor: Honestly I think the world needs that much men, I think it would do everyone a massive favor, I think our economy would skyrocket.

Ishmael: Do you even know what the word economy means?

Teufor: ...

Ishmael: It's not a soup. I'd know. I'm the sailor. The ocean- its full of plastic and filth for as much as it is beautiful, your soup doesn't have plastic in it, or it shouldn't. If it does I need to talk to General about his cooking. Also, I'd like to see you try to drink that much fucking salt water. It would not be a fun experience, it'd kill you.

did anyone find it odd initially when different burs started coupling up?

Jared: Oh absolutely. Me and Edgar weren't the first though.

Edgar: We are the loudest and most out there though, we've won that award. We definitely were the ones that annoyed everyone the most, still do.

Jared: And I'll keep doing it. It's a them problem.

God: The others definitely found it odd when Tiptup and myself started dating, but we were the first.

Tiptup: Yeah. To be honest I think we kind of took the place of icebreaker. After us no one else really got interrogated when they started making out on the couch.

Casper: Blue and I were the most unexpected I think... No one really expected us to uh... well get involved in this type of stuff.

Blue: But Casper was just so cute I couldn't help but try <3.

Teufor : I wouldn't say anyone found it particularly odd when I started dating Ozy, General and Soot- back then they weren't as touchy feely as they are now, and we were kind of the last couple to get together. Though, hehe, Jared did think I was cheating on them at first, all of them, at once.

Tiptup eventually explained polyamory to him. For whatever reason he didn't really get my explanation, but at least he understands now.

Teufor, General, Ozy, Soot, and Blue can recite the songs of Hamilton by heart. They do frequent watch parties of it as well. They’ve also been introduced to other musicals by Wilbur, Edgar, and Jared.

....you should hand out cuddle ratings

General: Oh! I think I can do this. Granted, I don't think I've well, cuddled everyone. Also this is highly subjective. I'd ask Blue if you wanted a rating of more people...

Blue himself is very good with affection, he's very kind and sweet and seeps to know just what someone needs no matter their mood.

General: I'm biased though, I think my boyfriends are the best, but it'd be hard to rate them. I think they're splendid for different reasons. Teufor is lovely to hold, he fits so snug in my arms, and he's very snug to fall asleep against.

Soot is very touchy. He likes to grab and hold, and he's just very affectionate. He will cling and not let go, and it's very nice. I like to lay against him and let him run his hands through my hair. It's... calming.

General: Now... Ozy? Oh he's very sweet and nice to hold... he isn't the most cuddly person, at least he didn't used to be. He more often is before we all go to bed, I wake up all the fucking time with him draped over me. It's lovely. We also cuddle when watching movies the most.
