NINJA SEX PARTY!!!

Such an awesome show. They did such an awesome show, with covers from their upcoming cover album, videos for that same album, an awesome animated intro short, and even a couple brand new songs!

Before they did the new stuff and cover videos, Danny even had the audience make a pledge about not recording and leaking the new material, which we surprised him by having our own pledge/chant of “DON’T BE A DICK!”.

And to get all sentimental and sappy for a moment, Danny also took a second closer to the end of the set to make sure they ended on a message of love against all the hate and other crap in the world.

The sentiment that really drove it home for me and moved me to tears however, was him saying to love yourself and to forgive yourself.

I don’t know if he’ll ever read this or whatever, but to hear one of my heroes say that on the year anniversary of my journey of self-discovery and mental health and happiness was just so damn powerful, and meant so much to me. So thank you, from the deepest part of my nerdheart.

So thank you @danny__avidan, @bwecht (@ninjasexparty ) for rocking this city with your sweet jams and love.
