Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate from McConnell’s
Very nice, rich, fudgey dark chocolate. Hard to rank above or below Jeni’s, I think they’re equal. The added chocolate chips are a good texture boost, though I am personally not a fan of the “chocolate flake” style. I didn’t notice the separate chocolate fudge in taste, visually it looks more like a fudge sauce/syrup.

Funny the flavor copy says “dark-ish”—this is very dark chocolate and I’m here for it. It’s very rich and fudgey. With the subtle but pleasant mint combined with the dark chocolate it’s not hard to compare it to Ben & Jerry’s Minter Wonderland. I like the base here more, it feels more dense and full, but B&Js is a very close second. However, McConnell’s drops it with the mix-ins. I had very, very few cookies. Total shame, this could have really been an amazing dark chocolate mint C&ax pint but I think I maybe had one cookie total, divided into a few small pieces.
