Hi, it's me again :3 I've got more Thoughts about that MCD self aware au thingy. Sorry the last post was so rambly, it was pure brain to board while I was figuring shit out ^^;
Ok so, here's a list of things about the au
This au is for MCD and follows the plot of MCD, roughly. It starts the same but with all the changed stuff it pretty quickly veers off track
This is a Self Aware au, meaning you the reader are the player of this minecraft world, and the characters at least CAN know about that
Because I'm an X reader writer, most of em are gonna be weird about that previous fact in either a /devotion or /sexy way. Them's the breaks pal
The minecraft world in which this takes place is a downloadable world originally made and posted by Irene after her and her friends lost intrest in the server
Irene is a real person in Our World. She made the Minecraft World as a server for her and her friends (Who all roleplayed as her knights and shit :3)
The Shadow Lord isn't Shad. Shad's a real dude like Irene, the Lord of Shadows is more a representation of file corruption and forgetting the past. Not letting go of, to be clear. Forgetting
Since the world is up for download on some random forum or website anyone can play it, and when they do it effects the world the next time someone downloads it, even if that last person didn't post Their version of the world for download
As basically the god of the world, anything you deem important, IS. For better or for worse. There aren't many fates more cruel than being plot relevant
This is Minecraft, meaning minecraft rules rein supreme. Some crazy fantasy plot shit will happen directly after you got in a boat to gracefully glide down a cliff face with a blue chicken in the back. Such is life here
I personally play modded Minecraft and so does the reader for this au. This world Is Not Vanilla (Custom NPCs is kinda a necessary addition for the reader to not immediately freak out that there's people in their world) This also means the reader will naturally skew towards the mods I play with, not much I can do about that one lol
Instead of Mifwa and Werewolves some folks in this world are Hybrids (Think the Origins mod) Neko like people do exist but they're just cat hybrids, and they follow Minecraft cat rules (scare off creepers and phantoms, randomly wakes up with cat gifts in their pockets, ya know)
Magicks and Aphmau's version of Witchcraft does not exist here. Mods like Botania or Iron Spellbook may be used but again, those are mods
Shadow Knights are vampires, they simply just are, you can rip this one away from my cold dead hands And, I think that's it? For now, at least. These here are my self aware au's- oh, lucky number 13 rules! That's not ominous ^^; lol
