okay but hear me out here on the best idea out there:

scott starts getting werewolf lessons from derek about once a week. derek has been able to smell the feelings between scott and liam for a while now (liam would have a huge puppy crush while scott's feelings would be obviously strong but still conflicted bc liam is only a freshman and he doesn't want to hurt kira / completely forget allison) so eventually derek gives scott a lesson on how to smell feelings, like fear but mostly AROUSAL and BIG FAT CRUSHES, knowing that scott will get all sniffy with liam. and of course and the next lacrosse practice (btw liam and scott would be co-captains; they'd be equals on the field, maybe liam would be a bit better) scott is all stoked bc he can smell liam’s crush.

i feel like liam would make pick up lines using scott's name and scott will groan and beg him to stop but secretly really likes it

but what i want is liam running to scott to feel safe and feeling completely calm and secure as soon as scott wraps his arms around him and he gets this adorable look on his face every time and scott definitely probably gives him the same look (◕‿◕✿)
