I've been seeing people make their own Eridians and I'm like, yes, absolutely I can get behind that
Anyway this is Grit!
He's 200 years old. Bro forgot to grow.

AU where Cole comes down with the same illness that Lilly had, because angst and also I want some caring family fluff from the ninja towards Cole
Also, mundane regular person chronic illness when the team has faced magic and monsters for years? Something so normal in the face of a magical existance, vibes
Something something the Ninja go on a mission and they manage to accidentally unearth some sort of Siren spirit, though none of them thinks anything happens from it and joke how it's anticlimactic and they were rushing to deal with some now old and now very broken artifacts, oops
Though Cole doesn't leave unchanged, it's gradual, but the Siren that had been hidden away for ages really wants all the power they can possibly get for themselves; and what better way than to use a trained performer and singer, and a ninja, a pinaccle of trust and influence and he's so musically inclined and the perfect host to be able to bring Ninjago and it's Elemental Masters to it's knees
People can't just ignore a Siren Song after all

This idea and art hit me like a freight train a few days back and I've only had time on my hands

This idea came before Obsession came out, but I still think it fits, albeit magical and a slight slight little less horrifying
Cole finds himself having a stalker, he's part of the famous ninja after all and it wouldn't exactly be the first time. But it feels like he's seeing the guy literally everywhere and it's not exactly something Cole enjoys because the guy is just so weird, acting like they're old friends, very parasocial, even though Cole knows next to nothing about him and is absolutely not up for humouring the less approachable and overall pushy and rude people the ninja unfortunately sometimes find as their fans
Until the stalker finds something magical, something they can use to get everything they've wanted. Money, power, fame and fortune and respect and appreciation
And Cole's unwavering love
Because I’m likely not going to properly color this, I’m going to call it finished!
Have some Cole knowing French because dear god I’ll stand by the idea that least he was raised to know a second language
Gods bleed ichor, don't they?

So like, if the Earth itself got poisoned or hurt or destroyed or something like that, or the proverbial Mother Nature of Ninjago became enraged with the way the world had been twisted and broken and crushed back together, how soon would Cole start feeling the effects of that? And would his element start taking over? He has reach to the entire of the world after all, there's earth under everyone's feet

Transformers One B-127, and what we all know Megatron will do to the chatterbox in the future (though with a bonus of: not just his voice modulator being ripped out)
Have a pre sketch sketch where an idea for a brainworm hits, but I don't wanna sit down rn and draw it out because I'm tired and I can work on it tomorrow probably (after commissions), yes it's Cole angst

Something something, Lloyd being the Master of Energy and Life, and Cole being the other side of the same coin, life and nature and Earth, an element that's wide reaching just like roots on a tree
Lloyd being a Conduit of the Source Dragons, visions that show the future in clearer detail, a much more controlled gift(?) because as the Green Ninja, he's able to mediate and manage the flow of power moving through him much more precisely
And Cole, as connected to the world as Lloyd, if not more so through the Earth. Master of the very land beneath everyone's feet, since without Earth there literally is no Ninjago. Then something happens (bad guy, spell gone wrong, connection to the Sources getting corrupted, something something) and that links Cole into a similar connection to what Lloyd is experiencing with his Source Visions
And for Cole, it's like being forced into a rushing river of power and visions and scenes that he can't make heads or tales of, there's no control there, no real awareness of when a new vision hits, or even being asked for a possible prophecy can cause one to surface. It wakes him from his sleep, has him zoning out; even if the visions, the prophecies, are sometimes few and far between, it's exhausting to see things he can't understand and be unable to stop the prophecy coming
But what he sees always eventually come to pass, the riddle of a vision always makes sense in the end
And the unconstrained ability to see the future would definitely be of interest to whatever villains, and it's not like they can go after the Green Ninja, so why not the one with a new ability he can't even control, it'd be so easy to get knowledge of what's to come from the ninja who can't even prevent a prophecy from falling from his tongue
