After a week of sneaking away from her big brother’s watchful gaze she finds herself bumping into Zach Mitchell. With a smirk to die for, a little brother as into dinosaurs as she is and an aunt who’s about as fun as Lowery they bond quickly and band together with determination to see even more of the island than they have been granted.

But with a brand new, hybrid, asset out of containment a simple slip passed the fences becomes something else entirely and wanting to see a few more triceratops up close quickly transcends into a race to survive…

her father was an olympic soccer player, never having won a medal for himself he put the dreams on his only daughter from the moment she was born. disciplined, intense, the kind of man who believed talent was nothing without work ethic. her mother, a nurse, balanced that edge with steady patience and long shifts that taught madden what quiet strength really looked like. she grew up in the space between pressure and compassion.

by the time she hit high school, she was already a name in the state. fast. composed. dangerous in front of goal. recruiters circled early, but there was never much doubt about where she’d land. the university of north carolina wasn’t just a powerhouse, it was home turf.

at unc, she earned her starting spot quickly, became one of the most reliable forwards in the conference, and learned how to carry expectations without letting them show. she studied broadcast journalism alongside her training schedule: camera-ready, media-aware, but never chasing the spotlight. she understood the narrative because she’d grown up inside one.

after graduation, she had options. multiple nwsl teams made offers. expansion clubs. rebuilding rosters. championship contenders. originally she spent her first few years in a roster ripe for rebuild. but two years ago, when things didn’t go as planned on her previous team, dallas chose her.

and in a way, she chose dallas right back. not because it was the easiest path but because it felt like something she could build. something that needed grit more than legacy. and she’s still not convinced she’s reached her ceiling.
