i don't often use this blog to criticise mcl, but i have to say that the game would be greatly improved (or at least fans wouldn't be as displeased as they are now) if they chose the illustrations better

the image with Castiel in episode 11 is a great example. now, i don't mind the illu, and i certainly don't mind the "one night stand" situation, but if anyone in Castiel's route did not want to go through with it, they'd lose the illu.

i personally play the game for the content and not necessarily the illustrations, so i don't mind not having an illu in cases like this, where a significant choice for my character is the decisive factor. but not everyone sees things that way, and the best way to keep everyone more or less happy would be to just... pick the moment better

instead of the illustration being Candy and Castiel in a compromising position and totally dependent on Candy saying yes, it could have been a cute picture of Candy and Castiel hanging out. then Castiel can make the proposition an you can accept it or decline it without losing anything

here's my wishlist for ep11

some well written drama between Rosa and Alexy. some character development, perhaps?

Yeleen trying to be nice to Candy when she senses somethings wrong but being awkward about it

Chani trying her best to be a good friend but not knowing exactly what to do because Candy refuses to tell her what happened

i know this one will probably not happen like pretty much the rest of the things on this list but Yeleen is kinda worried about Candy so she tries to aproach Chani to see what's going on. Chani is suspicious at first but goes along with it. eventually they reach frienemies status

some Candy and Morgan interactions would be fun

listen... listen. i'd bet that lysander knew about the pregnacy, and he knows about the miscarriage. maybe he decides to drop by to support his brother. i know it's unrealistic to hope for that, but i want at least a mention of him, ok? lys would 100% be there for his brother and his sister in law

time with our LI! i think i've said this already, but i want Candy to be stressed about this whole thing and the LI thinking that maybe they fucked up specially in Castiel's case because his date was weird

the LI decides to confront Candy about what they think they did wrong, just to find out that Candy is losing her shit about something else. cute hurt/comfort stuff ensues

Candy finally learning that it's not her responsability to solve anybody's issues, and that all she can do for her friends is support them and hope that their fallout doesn't affect her own individual relationship with each of them

Alexy and Rosa make up in the end, but things are still awkward. this is not something that gets resolved in a few days, unless there's significant time jumps within the episode
