MCL Happy Holidays - Day 3
Day 3 Prompt: Do you want to build a snowman?
Candy is a very happy girl. Winter break started last Friday and she spent the whole weekend watching movies with her mom, just hanging out and catching up on what has been going on in their lives. Her dad was spending some time with some of his old friends from college, so they could even talk boys. Or, to be more accurate, her mother could grill her.
She loves her mom, she does, but she is just a tiny bit too interested in Candy’s nonexistent love life. Candy would really like there to be a love life to talk about… And now her mom knows that too. Her mom knows all about Candy’s feeling for Kentin, but that she’s afraid that he doesn’t like her that way. Candy has to admit that it felt good to talk about it all with her mom. While her mom couldn’t put ease to her worries, it was still nice to share it with her.
Now it’s Monday and her parents are at work. Candy is quite happy she doesn’t need to go anywhere, though. An hour ago it started to snow and there is already a pretty layer of white on everything. The snow is still falling, making the outside a very pretty picture from her place on the couch.
The doorbell pulls her eyes and mind away from the window. She hadn’t made any plans for the day, did she? After a quick look in the mirror to make sure she’s presentable, Candy rushes down the stairs and opens the front door.
On the other side stands Kentin with a shy smile on his face, holding a carrot and a scarf. “Do you want to build a snowman?” he asks her, holding them up. Before Candy can answer, his smile turns a bit cheeky. “Doesn’t have to be a snowman,” Kentin adds in a sing-song tone of voice, making Candy giggle.
“You’re an idiot,” Candy tells him, but without any bite. Quite the opposite, actually. “A snowman sounds wonderful!” And so does spending time with Kentin.
An hour later they have built a tall and proud snowman in the park.
“He looks good,” Candy says, but her words end in a slight chattering of her teeth. Even though she is wearing all she can to stave of the icy weather, the cold is still getting to her.
Kentin gives her an amused smile. “I know you get cold easily,” he says, “but you’re really wrapped up right now. How are you still so cold?”
“It’s a skill,” Candy tells him. “Or maybe a special talent.” And of course, as if she wasn’t cold enough yet, the wind turns and the snowflakes land straight on her face.
Candy can only sigh at the situation. She’s sure she looks ridiculous, red from the cold and now with white snowflakes across the red. Why does this have to happen in front of Kentin?
“Aww, Candy…” Kentin mutters as she turns her back to the incoming snow. Kentin steps in front of her, looking at her with kind eyes. At least he isn’t laughing at her…
Instead his glove covered hands come up to wipe the snow of her face. “There,” he says. “That should feel better.”
It does. But that is because Kentin’s hands are lingering on her cheeks and he is close. Very close. He might be coming even closer. He definitely is. Candy can feel his warm breath on her face. She shivers, but not from the cold. She’s actually feeling the cold less and less.
Candy looks up, meeting Kentin’s eyes. His green eyes are searching her face, silently asking if she’s alright. Candy gives a slight nod and less than a second later Kentin kisses her. Kentin kisses her! He likes her as more than a friend! His soft lips warm her cold ones. She’s pretty certain that her face is still red, but not from the cold anymore.
It’s only lasts a few moments before Kentin pulls back, once again searching her face. Candy wonders if he’s scared that she didn’t like it, or doesn’t like him. That doubt needs to go.
“Hey, who said you could stop?” she asks him. A big smile comes to Kentin’s face and without another word their lips meet again.
Never before has Candy felt this warm when out in the snow.
I'm really enjoying reading your story's.. I would love to see another drunk party story or something with public sex. maybe with kentin? :> I love him so much. I wounder how funny, cute and awkward his first time would be. xD ( I rly don't care what the story is about. I only want to read another of yours) LOVE YOUR BLOG AND I'M IN LOVE WITH U xD
Hello sweet Anon!
It took me a while, but I didn’t forget! I just needed to find a calm moment to sit down and actually write this. I went with the drunk party part of your request. Don’t know why, but I seem to love writing them. Hope you like it!
Warning: Alcohol
Ps. I love you too, Anon, and thank you for the request. <3
Thanks, Alexy!
Candy isn’tsure how this happened. She’s having a party, yeah, but she didn’t bring anyalcohol into the house. Her parents even made sure the alcohol that they havewas locked away before leaving home and visiting her aunt.
Though, thinking back on it, Iris and Violette were strangely nervous when they arrivedwith Kim. She isn’t going to ask now, because everyone is in a good mood (orjust plain drunk), but she’s quite sure they had something to do with all thespiked drinks.
Candy hasto admit that the result is not so bad. Her living room is a complete mess, true, but everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. Some people are hangingout, others are attempting to dance and for some reason Armin and Alexy are chasingKentin around the room. She isn’t sure if she should help out her boyfriend, but so far he seems to be fine and to be honest, she doesn’t know if her wobblyknees can handle running around the room right now.
Instead sheturns her head back to continue braiding Melody’s hair. It might not be thebest braid she’s ever done, but she’s so used to it that even now it’s turningout to be a pretty decent braid. At least she’s doing a better job than Melodyand Violette, who are together trying to braid Rosalya’s hair. It’s probably agood thing Rosalya is brilliant at untangling hair. She will need that skill inthe morning.
She’s just tyingof Melody’s braid when Candy feels arms wrap around her waist, followed by achin on her shoulder. “Hello Honey,” she says, not even turning to look. Sheknows it’s her boyfriend.
“Hi Sweetie,”Kentin answers. “I think I’m a bit drunk.”
“What makesyou say that?” Candy asks. “Is it the weird taste of your juice?”
“Nope,”Kentin says, popping the ‘p’ a bit. “Well, not just that. But I’ve lost myshirt and I don’t really mind. Don’t you think that’s weird?”
At thosewords Candy turns, breaking Kentin’s hold on her. Sure enough, there is noshirt in sight and it’s his bare chest that greets her. His very nice barechest. His bare chest and arms with good muscles from the working out he likesto do…
“Candy?Hey, Candy? Anybody home?” Kentin breaks her out of her thoughts. Her eyes flyup to his and she feels a blush rise to her cheeks. Kentin tilts his head a bitin confusion. It takes him a moment, but then his eyes widen and his face getsflushed as well. “Oh.”
“Enjoyingthe view?” asks Kim with a grin as she passes by. Candy tries to look away fora moment, but her eyes are drawn back to Kentin to watch the blush spread tohis neck and chest as well.
“I do likethe view,” Candy admits softly so only Kentin can hear it. The redness on hisface darkens a bit, but a pleased little smile makes Candy happy she said itout loud. Seeing Kentin smile is the best thing in the world, though now it hasa very, very close second.
“Good toknow,” he says just as softly.
“How didyou lose your shirt, by the way?” Candy wonders out loud.
“Uh, Alexy mighthave stolen it…” Kentin mutters, scratching the back of his neck. “I’m stillnot sure how he got it off of me.”
Candyshakes her head. “Alexy!” she yells.
“Yeah?!”Alexy yells back. She believes it comes from the kitchen but she isn’t entirelysure.
“Why is myboyfriend without a shirt?!” Candy shouts towards the kitchen. Alexy’s headpops out of the kitchen, waving with a spoon and for some reason, Kentin’sshirt seems to be wrapped around his head.
“Well, if Ihad to pick any of the guys in here, Kentin is the one I would prefer to seewithout a shirt,” Alexy says. “Besides, you can’t tell me you aren’t enjoyingyourself right now. You can thank me later!” He gives a salute with the spoonhe’s holding and disappears back into the kitchen. Candy has to giggle at that. That left her with more questions than answers, but she doesn’t really mind.Instead she slides in between Kentin’s legs and settles against his torso.
A soft sighescapes Candy’s lips as Kentin wraps his arms around her. “I like this,” shetells him. She always likes hugging and cuddling with Kentin. It gives her sucha content feeling. But with him not wearing a shirt it feels even better. Hercheek rests against him and she can hear his heartbeat in her ear. Maybe sheshould thank Alexy…
“So do I,”Kentin tells her, giving a kiss on Candy’s forehead. “I love you.”
Candysmiles, letting her eyes slide closed. “I love you too.”
