I saw someone headcanon-ing on Phantom!Lysander from The Phantom Of The Opera over at sweetpolyamoris' blog. Would it be okay to ask for a picture? :DDDD I'm sorry if this is rude, I'd just love to see it in your style
Haha that’s funny because my sister, who has no idea what my candy love is, actually thought he looked like Phantom when I was drawing him for the first time a while ago

MCL Happy Holidays - Day 4
Day 4 Prompt: Hot Cocoa
Though it is a cold winter day, the park is filled with people. The annual winter market is held there and it almost seems like the whole town showed up. Lysander picked Candy up earlier and now they’re strolling along the stalls. Lysander is not really interesting in what the stalls are selling, but he really enjoys watching Candy as she checks out all the different stands. She said she wasn’t planning on buying anything, but of course she did. She’s not as bad as Rosalya would have been, not even close. Candy just bought a bracelet for her mom and some gingerbread cookies.
Of course he’s carrying them. It gives her the freedom to pick up trinkets at the different stands. Which is just a kind gesture on his part. On the outside at least. To himself Lysander has to admit that he really likes the feeling when Candy places both of her hands in the crook of his elbow, holding onto him and letting him escort her around. Though he can’t really call it a selfish motive when she ends up not having to carry anything, he supposes…
“Oh, look at that,” Candy exclaims when they pass a stall with small, hand-carved statues. “They’re so well done.”
“Thank you, young lady,” the elderly man behind the stall says, smiling at the two of them. “Making these are my pride and joy, so it’s always good to hear that others enjoy my work. Especially when it comes from young people like you.”
“Well, they’re amazing,” Candy says again. Lysander can’t do anything but agree with that. He buys a beautiful little bird for Leigh, while Candy buys a fisherman for her father. At Lysander’s insistence, Candy hands over this bag as well. Before she takes hold of his arm again, she rubs her hands together and blows on them.
“Are you cold?” Lysander asks her.
“Not really,” Candy says. “Just my hands. But gloves are awful when browsing stands like this. They just get in the way.”
Lysander takes one of Candy’s hands in his. “Your hand feels like ice, dear. I think we need to warm them up before they decide to leave you for a warmer place.”
Candy chuckles but doesn’t protest when Lysander starts leading her back along the path. It takes him a moment to find what he’s looking for, but at the end of the row there is a stand selling warm drinks. Because of the cold there is a bit of a line and it takes a minute or two before Lysander can order.
“Two hot chocolates, please.”
“Whipped cream?” the lady behind the stand asks.
“Yes, on one of them,” Lysander answers, glancing at Candy. She beams up at him.
“You remembered,” Candy says happily, almost bouncing a bit in place.
“Of course,” Lysander says. “I couldn’t forget how you like your hot chocolate even if I wanted to. It made an impression.” It really did. The sight of his smallish girlfriend drinking a huge mug of hot chocolate with half a can of whipped cream on top of it will never leave his mind.
They move over to a bench to drink their normal sized hot chocolates. Lysander neatly unwraps his straw to drink, but Candy doesn’t. She just takes a bit of the whipped cream into her mouth, making a happy sound as she does so.
“Tasty?” Lysander asks unnecessarily, but Candy still nods, her cold hands wrapped tightly around the warm cup.
“Very,” she tells him. Lysander is amused to see some of the cream on her face.
“You have a bit…” he mutters, bringing his hand to her face and wiping it off with his thumb. As his thumb moves over the corner of her mouth, Candy stills in place, looking up at him with slightly wide eyes. She keeps watching him as he brings his thumb to his own mouth to clean of the cream. Lysander enjoys the sight of a blush rising to her face. “I have to agree with you. It tastes very good.”
Candy bites her lip, still staring at him. Lysander leans towards and places a soft kiss on the same corner of her mouth. “Drink your chocolate, dear.”
MCL Happy Holidays - Day 2
Hello! I really enjoyed writing this. Hope you’ll like it as well! <3
Lyrics are from the songs “Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree” and “All I Want For Christmas Is You”
Day 2 Prompt: Family
“Rockin' around the Christmas tree Let the Christmas spirit ring Later we'll have some pumpkin pie And we'll do some caroling.”
Lysander sways around the room with little Roxanne in his arms. Swaying in one of her parents’ arms is one of Roxanne’s favorite pastimes since day one, but now she’s seven months old and a lot more aware of the world around her. She really likes to babble, but when her Daddy Lysander is singing, she becomes quiet and listens intently.
It’s just now, in the past week or so, that she started to watch him just as intently while he sings. Which has been mostly Christmas songs. He can’t help it, Lysander has been swept up in the season. He just hopes she won’t hate all the Christmas songs when she’s older from him singing them too much.
“You will get a sentimental feelin' When you hear Voices singin' lets be jolly Deck the halls with boughs of holly.”
Lysander hears the front door opening and closing a few seconds later. He turns a bit in place, so Roxanne, who heard the door as well, can see her other parent walking into the living room.
“More Christmas songs?” Castiel asks, putting down the bags with groceries and shaking his head at Lysander. “You’re not sick of them yet?”
Lysander just smiles and keeps singing his song.
“Rockin' around the Christmas tree Have a happy holiday Everyone dancin' merrily In the new old fashioned way.”
Castiel just walks over and takes Roxanne into his own arms. “You better come to Papa, Roxy. Daddy won’t stop singing those silly songs.”
“They’re not silly,” Lysander disagrees. “They’re quite fun. Roxanne likes them.”
“Roxy likes whatever you sing,” Castiel says. “But I have to draw a line. Enough with the Christmas songs. We need some real music.”
Lysander looks on amused as Castiel walks to the radio, looking through the old CDs on the shelves. “You were the one that started it this year.”
“Did not,” Castiel immediately argues.
“You were the one playing Jingle Bells for Roxanne on your guitar.”
“I have no memory of that,” Castiel insists. “Tell him, Roxy. Tell Daddy that it didn’t happen and that he is imagining things.”
Instead of keeping up the faux-argument, Lysander starts singing again.
“I don't want a lot for Christmas There is just one thing I need.”
Castiel lets out a groan, but Lysander ignores it. Instead he moves towards Castiel.
“I don't care about the presents Underneath the Christmas tree.”
“Your Daddy is an idiot,” Castiel tells Roxanne. Lysander knows he doesn’t mean it. He wraps his arms around Castiel’s waist and when Castiel looks back at him, there is no hint of irritation on his face. Just happiness and contentment.
“I just want you for my own More than you could ever know Make my wish come true All I want for Christmas is you.”
Hi! It took a while, but here is part six of the Castiel x Candy x Lysander story. I needed a while to figure out how to get the three of them from where they are now to where I want them to be. Didn’t figure it out 100%, but I have a general idea now, which I’m quite happy with.
Hope you’ll enjoy! <3
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 - Part 5
6.
Candy is just a bit frustrated with her friends. Alexy and Rosalya would give her a few days to figure things out, but how can she figure things out when the two of them won’t let her talk to Lysander and Castiel by herself? She loves them, she truly does, but Rosalya and Alexy are way too nosy.
All day long her friends move in on either side of her when walking to and from classes, to lunch, to the library… It’s driving her a bit mad! Thankfully that doesn’t stop her from exchanging looks with the boys. Castiel keeps rolling his eyes at the situation every time their eyes meet, and Lysander looks somewhat amused by it all.
In the five minutes between classes before the last period, Candy gets an idea. “I need to go to the toilet,” she tells Alexy and Rosalya.
“I’ll come with you,” Rosalya quickly says, looping her arm around Candy’s and leading her to the ladies room. The intention to still not let her go anywhere alone is clear. Candy figured as much, but the bathroom stall does give her a moment alone. Instead of using the toilet, she sits down on the closed lid and pulled out her phone. With a few taps on the screen she has opened up WhatsApp and started a new group for Lysander, Castiel and herself. She quickly types out a message.
Candy: Hey guys, will you walk me home?
It only takes a few moments before she gets an answer.
Castiel: sure princess
Lysander: Of course we will escort you to your place.
She smiles at the completely different answers that still say the same.
Candy: Please wait for me by the gate. I will do my best to escape my minders.
Waiting for the final bell feels like it takes twice as long as normal, but when it finally does ring, everyone quickly leaves the room. Candy goes to her locker and her friends follow her there. She’s not surprised. But she is thankful that her locker is close to the classroom they just left, while Rosalya's and Alexy’s are quite a bit further away. Otherwise it would be a lot more difficult to make her plan work.
It only takes her a few moments to switch out the things she needs to take home and the things that can stay in her locker. With a deep breath she closes the locker and stands up. Rosalya and Alexy are watching her, but Candy pretends to look at something behind them. She widens her eyes dramatically and gasps.
“What is she wearing?!” Candy exclaims. Just like she knew they would, Rosalya and Alexy turn around to see the potential fashion disaster. As soon as their backs are turned, Candy takes off in the opposite direction, towards the front door.
“I don’t see… Hey, Candy! Come back here!” Rosalya yells across the hall, but Candy doesn’t stop.
“See you tomorrow!” she shouts back over her shoulder, knowing that the two of them still had to visit their own lockers and couldn’t leave the school just yet.
Rosalya yells something else, but Candy tears out of the front door, not pausing to listen. Going to the gate, she sees Castiel and Lysander there, just like she asked them. She doesn’t stop running until she reaches them, giving them a big smile. “Hi,” she says, very glad that her plan worked.
“Hello Candy,” Lysander says, giving her an amused look. “I see you lost Rose and Alexy on the way here?”
“More like escaped, I think,” Castiel says with a smirk. “Do we need to start running now, or are we safe?”
“I don’t think staying here for much longer would be a good plan, but running isn’t needed,” Candy tells them.
“Let’s go then, Princess,” Castiel says. He takes her bag of her shoulder, slinging it over his own, and starts to walk with Lysander. Candy shakes her head for a second before falling into step with them.
