This is where I went today! It’s really nice and lots of cool history

I already vaguely knew about the Tay bridge disaster but it was interesting to find out the specifics, and the bit of the train that’s in there is cool too

My substandard photo of the McManus galleries in Dundee. I am not a good photographer who gets snazzy dramatic shots with epic skies. I take photos when the sun is low in the sky and my whole picture is dingy and unimpressive. Maybe I should do a a deliberately gloomy edit?

Youth Action Update:

The Youth Action group have gathered today to bring together their ideas for what the want to create for the Scotland Creates Project. The end pieces of the Project will be showcased in an exhibition that will be open to the public for 6 weeks at the McManus Galleries.

Also a few of the Youth Actioners and members of the creative learning team have also been given a task to capture an event. They are going out to Greenock to meet a partner Youth Action Group that are also participating in the same project and will be capturing their train journey and tour of the Greenock Museum. They will also be attending and capturing the opening of the Greenock youth action Exhibition.

There’s currently an exhibition on in dundee that shows the work of some best fashion photographers. From Irving Penn and David Bailey to Rankin- my all time favourite. AND it’s free admission! I’m there.
