Could you image what stydia (or mcmartski) would be like as kids if they had a friendship in their childhood.
Meeting each other on the playgroup.
Stiles being extra dorky around her.
Lydia being extra sassy around him.
Lydia starting to hang out with Stiles and Scott.
The teachers either always separating them or always putting them together.
Lydia comforting Stiles over his mom’s death.
He does the same for her grandmother’s.
Them both concerned over Scott’s asthma.
Scott pretending he’s not the third-wheel.
They all know Theo even though Scott is one closest to Theo.
Sleepovers!
Both of them hogging as many peanut butter cups as they can.
Lydia, Stiles and Scott sleeping in the same bed.
Lydia and Stiles always finding each other.
Holding hands!
Lydia snapping at anyone who hurt’s Scott and Stiles’ feelings
Stiles knowing absolutely everything about Lydia.
Even more than she knows herself.
Saying cheesy/sappy/fluff shit to each other.
Going into middle school with Lydia who went through some changes making boys drool over her.
Although even though she may start to date someone she always draws back to Stiles (and Scott).
Breaking up with her boyfriends if they don’t like Stiles.
Both still having sleepovers.
Both of them looking at each other in a different light by the end of middle school.
Lydia always giving the boys her notes and helping them study.
Stiles and Lydia always watching either star wars or the notebook.
Scott saying ‘how about we watch -?’
The other two exclaiming ‘No!’
Scott again being the third wheel.
The best presents for each other.
Going into high school with Lydia dragging the two of them into the building.
Lydia setting Allison up with Scott.
Finding out after Stiles (but before Allison) that Scott is a werewolf.
Researching it specifically to help him.
Lydia seeing Peter as the werewolf and being traumatized.
Stiles going to her house and Lydia starts flirting with him.
‘You’re cute when you’re worried about me.’
Stiles having her fall asleep on him.
Lydia being with Jackson’s toxicity and Stiles fucking losing it when Jackson fights with her.
Lydia being in the middle of one of Scott and Allison’s break ups.
She ditches them both to hang out with Stiles.
Stiles trying to test out other waters with other girls (and boys??) but can’t see anything in them.
Lydia dumping Jackson’s ass with a talk with Stiles over how she deserves a good guy.
Is somewhat part of their plans.
(Stiles not wanting her to get hurt tries to let her stay out of it but when she does get involved she is their savior.)
‘WhAt Do YoU mEaN yOu’Re GoInG tO dO tHaT? Do you want to die?’
They of course go to the semi formal together.
Lydia smiling and laughing but having to leave when she finds Jackson trying to flirt with Allison to get to her (and Scott).
Lydia trying to find her but gets stopped by Peter.
Stiles freaking the hell out (pretty much what’s already canon).
When Stiles stays in the hospital Lydia’s dad is not surprise, nobody is.
When Lydia is lost Stiles freaks out (and yes faints when she is found naked).
Although after that Stiles goes to Lydia’s house and comforts her.
She tries to make it a no big deal.
‘I lost nine pounds!’
Stiles having none of that.
Lydia refusing all help but Stiles always sticks with her.
Stiles and Scott refusing to have any hurt her, even if she is the kanima.
Her being so lost and scared but keeping it to herself and even her long lost best friends.
One day she breaks down at school when she sees Peter in economics.
Stiles comforting her.
Her kissing him.
Stiles in love.
Lydia in love.
