 TO  PUT  IT  KINDLY  SHE  WAS  IN  A  RUT.  the  only  small  comfort  she  found  was  that  she  wasn't  the  only  one.  the  backstage  space  seemed  filled  with  roster  members  who  were  in  this  strange  limbo.  one  week  you  seemed  on  the  cusp  of  a  big  storyline  and  then  next  it  was  trashed  for  something  else,  someone  else.  it  was  a  fickle  system  but  one  she  was  determined  to  see  through.  if  nothing  else  than  for  the  sake  of  her  tag  team  partner.  her  and  liv  had  each  other's  backs  and  she  wouldn't  do  anything  to  jeopardize  that  even  if  she  was  frustrated.

 but  that  frustration  was  apparent  when  the  familiar  blonde  sat  down  in  front  of  her  in  catering,  a  knowing  tone  in  her  voice.  dori  couldn't  help  the  sigh  that  escaped  as  she  poked  at  the  catering  food  with  her  plastic  fork.  "  I  do  NOT  as  I  was  so  painfully  reminded  when  I  checked  in  tonight . . . how  about  you?  if  not,  may  I  suggest  AVOIDING  the  chicken  salad.  it  tastes  like  salt  and  not  much  else.  "

          ❝     don’t  get  me  wrong,     i  truly  enjoyed  kicking reginald’s  ass  but  mella,     when  is  it  your  turn  to  do  it.     ❞      the  moment  she  had  spotted  the  blonde  backstage,     she  couldn’t  stop  the  comment  from  coming  out  of  her  mouth.     sure  sasha  fought  the  writers  to  fight  him.     had  told  everyone  she  could.     and  that  with  this  storyline  she  should.     and  she  did.     but  she  wasn’t  the  only  one  who  could  benefit  from  getting  into  the  ring  with  the  circus  performer.     ❝     do  you  know  how  amazing  of  a  story  you  could  tell?     finally,     finally     kicking  the  men  on  your  side  to  the  curb  and  shining  so  bright  on  your  own.     ❞      sasha  raised  her  hand  in  a  dramatic  show,     waving  to  nothing  as  if  that  could  help  carmella  see  her  vision.

❖ + have you ever done the nasty at work and gotten caught?

I’ve done the nasty a couple of times, but I’ve only been caught once. Hunter walked in on me and it wasn’t a fun conversation. Kind of felt like I was being scolded by my dad. I wanted to at least finish but she wasn’t in the mood anymore.

❖ + one of your biggest regrets in life?

Being so quiet about my leukemia for so long. I was always afraid that it would define me as someone who’s weak and people would see me as someone who needed help. But I realize now that it doesn’t define me. I’m stronger now because of it.
