     “Oh, him? I think he said his name is Daisuke, or something like that.” Himari hadn’t really paid attention. Coming over to the other girl’s desk she placed a note down, wrapped in a pink envelope. “He caught me in the hallway and asked if I would give this to you.” Grey eyes focused on the letter briefly, silent jealousy bubbling in her chest. “I think this is like, the fourth one I think I’ve seen you get this week. You’re pretty popular.”

“Oh.. well...” In all honesty, Kakyuu didn’t want the attention she’d been getting, especially not the letters. These boys hardly knew anything about her... but she could see why it would be so appealing to receive them. Someone thought she was pretty, which squashed that self doubt in her own looks, at least for a little bit. “Thank you. I do apologize for him bothering you... I think it is just because my hair is so bright.”

        Iarios blinked, looking at the girl who brought him the coffee. What on Earth? What was she talking about? Well, he knew what she was talking about, but how did she know? He had heard about the schoolgirls that liked to dabble in fortune telling as a hobby, but this girl looked well into her college years; she looked older than he did! Weren’t silly little things like the occult supposed to lose their appeal when one got older?

        “Ummm... thanks?” Perhaps it was best to feign ignorance. But green eyes told the story of his confusion and the truth of how accurate her words had been. Except for that last part. That could still be up for debate. The future could yet be won... With the Prince? The Princess? With who? With what weapons would it be won?

        Only time would tell. But for now, he needed his coffee.

        Zoisite froze. Her. He had only heard stories of this woman with skin as pale as milk and hair the color of moonlight.. This was the matriarch of the Moon. The Queen. It should have been expected that they would cross paths eventually; his Prince was courting the Moon Princess, after all. Despite his distaste for the matter, he had volunteered to accompany Endymion with the others to keep a watchful eye on the two young lovers.

        The General gave a stiff bow. What else was there to do? She was royalty, even if she heldno power over him. To not show some respect merely for her title would be rude.

        “Greetings, your Majesty.” Was that the system they used here? Whatever. He could feign ignorance if not. But what else was there to say? Zoisite rubbed the back of his neck. “I take it all is well?”
