I left Twitter 4 years ago. For some reason I never fully deleted the account until today, so I’ve been reflecting a bit.

First of all, I never regret leaving. I needed to do that and it was for the best. But man, does not having Twitter suck. It’s like the only place people care to share life updates or cool stuff happening. It’s where creators ask for art, people ask for stream submissions, it’s where EVERYTHING happens it feels like. And sometimes for that reason I wanna come back.

For those of you that don’t have Twitter, do you ever feel like this? How are you staying up to date? Do you feel up to date? If you’re an artist do you feel like you miss out on more opportunities or chances to grow?

I’m really considering going back but I don’t know. Would love to hear thoughts

Hello, and welcome to my new blog!

I made this blog because I wanted people to have a place where they could talk about what they wanted to see in terms of agere content! I know that even when people have requests open, I always feel self-conscious about leaving an ask about what I want, so I wanted to make a space where people can drop their scenario ideas without having to put pressure on anyone!

That being said, feel free to take any of these scenarios and run with them if you’d like, just please link back to this blog if you do!

If you would’ve told me almost four years ago that a single Reddit comment would change my life, I wouldn’t’ve believed you.

But this comment right here did just that. It led me to becoming a banner artist for the MCC subreddit, and a subreddit mod.

It led me to making banners for over 10 different subreddits, different discords, and even a YT channel with over a million subs.

Getting to make banners for people is always my favorite thing. I love getting to sprinkle in little references and use cool patterns, and it’s just cool to look at it and say I did that. I made that.

Thank you to Optmistic for saying yes to that comment four years ago. Thank you to Beefstew, Gold, JackSucksAtLife, and all the other creators who let me do what I love. And thank you guys for being so supportive throughout it all.

In 2 weeks I graduate college, and an era comes to an end. It’s been a great one. Thankful God gave this to me, and excited to see where he leads me next.

If I ever make a creator’s pfp out of paper that’s art, I love seeing the artist’s reaction to it. Cause a small prt of me feels bad for basically straight up recreating their design (and I ask beforehand when needed ofc), but I shouldn’t because I have yet to have someone react negatively. It’s always “that’s so unique what” or “woah that’s so cool” and that makes me so happy. Like I’m blown away by the art you made what do you mean you love my recreation of it.

Transforming art into another medium is so fun and I’m glad people find it as cool as I do

Here’s a rundown of the tags I’ve been using!

Story ideas - for story prompts. Can range from who regresses and who is a caretaker to full prompts.

Fandom suggestions - for fandom suggestions with no story prompts

Featured fics - Fics people have written based on a prompt. Feel free to send in your completed prompts so I can feature them!

McSpeaks - for when I’m adding my input. I try not to say anything when it comes to wishing well stuff, so this will mostly be for posts like this!

I’m stepping down as a moderator for the MCC subreddit. This was a hard decision, but it’s something I feel like I need to do.

God made me realize I was spending more time online than with him, and that my priorities need to change. I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve spent drawing fanart or watching streams, and while that’s not a bad thing, it shouldn’t be more important than a relationship with Him.

I’m also going to be using socials less and making less fanart. I probably won't be here at all- just twitter on occasion. I’m not disappearing tho- just taking a step back. I’m also caring less about growth and followers  and more about Jesus, the only thing that matters.

My final banner will be a generic one that can be used year round. I am incredibly thankful for the support for those over the years! And as far as events go, I’m hosting my biggest one ever this summer! Not sure if I’m going to continue after that, but we’ll see. 

I’m thankful for my time as a mod and for this community; I’m also grateful for the creators that have worked with me and supported me over the years! More than that though, I’m excited to see what Jesus does in me through this. Love you guys ❤️

If you’re wondering why I’ve been kinda mia recently, or why I don’t post as much about creators and mcyt anymore, or where the fanart has been, here you go.

No one I watch streams anymore.

I had this realization recently. I was wondering why I wasn’t making fanart like I used to. Or why the motivation to do that was gone. And it’s because the people I watch quit. It’s the truth.

Burren left years ago. Beef is never live. I know he says he wants to, but that can be hard to believe at times. Kratzy quit besides MCC (said he might try to stream more? Hopefully?) Gold is live a good amount, but it comes in waves. Michael streams pretty regularly but it’s at midnight for me and I’m asleep then. The rest are either people who are regular but don’t stream more than once a week, or I only like some of their content.

When I tell you I am so PRODUCTIVE during streams it’s crazy. But I feel like I never have any to watch.

I need another SDMP moment where everyone is consistently live for a month or 2

I know a streamer who’s been struggling recently dealing with a lack of success (idk how else to word it). His streams haven’t been doing well and he’s been sharing how hard it on him. How he feels awful and doesn’t know what to do and everything sucks.

I’ve been trying to be supportive for a while now, trying to be a positive voice. Not only have I been giving encouraging words but ideas, feedback, and having discussions.

It’s getting worse, and I’m now at a point where I’m done with it. A month ago I’d get a “I’ll think about it, thanks for the input.” Now? “That wouldn’t work, f everything.”

I want to be supportive, I really do, but it doesn’t feel worth my time to have these 20 minute discussions that go nowhere. But if I stop, who’s to say it isn’t gonna get worse faster?

All I can think to do is pray. Any other advice or thoughts I’ll take it cause I’m stuck
