               she’s EMBARRASSED, is what she is. at, what, twenty five, she shouldn’t be this RUN DOWN. peggy has no one to blame but herself. fingers sweep to push dark strands of hair from her face, and she can only IMAGINE what she looks like, right now. she’d all but stumbled to the bench. unused to feeling this vulnerable, peggy wants to be BRUTISH, snappish, snarl her way into solitude –––– but she swallows it down instead. unnecessary anger wasn’t a quality of hers.

                he’s a bit silhouetted by the sun, and it kind of hurts to look, but she smiles, half-sheepish, half uncomfortable. leave it to her to find the nice pedestrian.   ❛  i’m fine, simply — needed a moment, haven’t had the chance to find some source of caffeine this morning. you know how it is. thank you though –––– for checking. quite kind, really.  ❜
