Who gets overwhelmed by small acts of kindness?
Probably Bellemere. She really seemed like the kind that went out of her way to make sure other people ( especially her daughters ) were happy before she considered making herself happy, so Sanji doing anything for her at all and making even tiny efforts to make her smile would probably get to her.
Who flinches at sudden movements?
I don’t see either of them being really flinch-y, but maybe Bellemere is a smidge more but in a protective way? As an ex-marine, she’s probably ready for anything. But I guess Sanji could be the same way?
Who is most confused as to why their S.O. is still with them?
Bellemere. She knows she’s a bit rough around the edges, not ‘traditionally’ attractive and has a ‘few’ years on him. She wonders sometimes why Sanji hasn’t gone for someone his age, or someone that’s a bit more feminine.
Who has to constantly check their S.O. still loves them?
Sanji. He doesn’t outright ask her, “do you still love me?” because he does trust her and does believe that she cares about him. If he’s going to worry he’s more likely to ask her, “are you happy?”
Who says the other/s would be better off with someone else?
Bellemere. Again, she probably thinks he would be better off with someone his age that can actually feel things ( if we’re still in the guardian au ) when he touches them. She thinks she can’t offer the same things another woman can, even if he tells her that’s not true.
Who gets surprised when they are given gifts?
Sanji. He’s used to giving the gifts and soaking in her reaction if the gift makes her happy, so getting anything in return sort of flabbergasts him. Like he hasn’t done anything to deserve it.
Who is most likely to break down on the other and how does their S.O. attempt to calm them down?
Hmm. It would take a lot for either of them to really break down hard enough that they’d need comforting, but maybe Bellemere. I wonder sometimes if it ever just really hits her hard that she’s dead. She knows she is, but there’s probably been the rare occasion where it’s just ‘shit’ and she’s really thrown off by it.
The only way Sanji can think to comfort her is to hold her. Whatever he’s doing, he drops it just to bundle her up into his arms and stay with her until she lets him know she’s alright. Doesn’t matter how long it takes, he doesn’t want to leave her side until she’s smiling again.
Who is most self conscious in public?
Considering no one else can see her, it’s not Bellemere. Sanji’s not the self-conscious type, either.
Who is more likely to apologize a million time for a tiny mistake?
Sanjiiiiiii. He could bump her on accident or step on her toe. He’ll forget sometimes that she can’t feel, so he’ll think he’s hurt her and profusely apologize until she tells him she’s fine and to stop freaking out over her, geeze.
Who admits they’re scared only when they think their S.O. is asleep and how does the other react?
Sanji. His biggest fear, at least when it comes to her, is that he’ll just stop seeing her. It was a big enough shock seeing her in the first place, but now he worried that her image will just stop appearing. He won’t be able to feel her anymore and, eventually, he’ll forget.
Her reaction will probably to feel a fraction of his fear. I don’t think she’ll want to be forgotten.
Who never thinks they’re good enough for the other?
Bellemere for all the reasons I’ve said before. He constantly tries to reassure her that her lack of feeling, her age and whatever fears she has don’t make him care about her any less.
Who takes a bullet for the other?
:’) Wow, alright. Well, CONSIDERING HOW SHE DIED. He can’t really take a bullet for her now because she’d be super pissed that he risked his life for a dead woman. I’m not sure if she could for him? Would it pass through her if she tried?
