… romero. he was interesting at first, but… idk. lots of things the bates fandom does really rubs me the wrong way tbh, and this could just be my inner-norman coming out

11. what’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to RPing?

the unsaid pressure that lingers, the worry that you need to be present all the time or people will give up on you and leave. this is mostly just a peeve at myself, and i hate it so much, but i don’t think it will go away anytime soon.

im pretty sure it was in the olden days when you still had your twelve that i started talking to you and i know we connected through our love of docdon/hatred of whouffle (docswald or doctor swag as 1am texts named it) on skype and back then you were actually always on skype so we talked SO much and it was great. i know i eventually gently peer pressured you into doing a skype video chat w/me and we’ve just taken off since. i mean, YOU FUCKING DISAPPEARED but then again so did i and i honestly missed you and your beautiful jersey accent and your great humor and then when you followed me on norma i was like “….ok this MIGHT be jess but lemme not make an ass outta myself” eventually i sucked it up and asked you and now here we are, crying about norma louise bates and donna elieen noble and the unfairness of female tropes in modern media

and your norma is great, your benedick is great, your oc is great, you’re great. i will follow you on every and all accounts you might make because i not only enjoy your writing, but also your characterization of this actual flower that just wants to be a good mother and any other character you might take on. you’re amazing point blank and i cant wait to fly up to NY to spend a weekend getting lost as shit in times square (it’ll happen, i have horrible sense of direction even with a GPS)
