I watched all of the mcu movies as they were released in theatre as a casual fan. I recently decided to be a stan and watch all of them from start to finish. I have a terrible memory but, Captain America Winter Soldier came out when I was 13, so I only saw it once 7 years ago. Yet I remembered every single detail and plot line when I watched it again - that’s how incredible the plot is. If you wanna get into it, but still wanna skip some non essential movies. I’d say watch in order from: iron man 1, Thor, captain America 1, avengers 1, captain America 2, guardians of the galaxy, avengers 2, civil war, black Panther, Thor ragnarok, doctor strange, captain marvel, infinity war, endgame. There’s more I didn’t include but some sequels and ant-man just aren’t important to buckys storyline, the rest vaguely are in some way.

(on a date klsdjljlfs). i am now committed to watching Winter Soldier, i’ll do that this week prob (maybe even tonight? to be seen). which counts as cap 2? is that winter soldier? i don’t trust myself to watch them all speedily (i am a VERY slow movie/tv watcher), and i wanna watch the winter soldier since im In Deep rn, so i may do that out of order. i thought about doing civil war, as it seems to have some good Bucky Content, but then it may dispel my firm belief that the movie is About Steve Fighting Everyone For Bucky, the Love Of His Life.
will def at some point do thor and black panther at the least (been meaning to watch that, everyone says its amazing). but i will also strive if i am feeling ambitious to get through in your order.
