The question is: Does Uzi or Nori flirt back with Cyn? Even to just test if that'll make her be quiet?
Between the two, Uzi for sure. Poor girl has to live with her tail hitting on her at any given moment. It's easier for Nori to ignore or deflect the comments since she isn't with Cyn 24/7. Uzi would be desperate enough to try it, but only when alone.
However, first one to ever flirt back with Cyn is N. Uzi and N would be on a date, and he'd be having fun flustering Uzi with cute flirtatious comments. Cyn is still in love with her big brother, so she often tries to hit on him too. She makes a flirty comment to him, and before Uzi can even shush her tail, N flirts back unthinking.
Silence for a second.
N looking proud of himself for the flirty comeback. Cyn blushing and speechless. Uzi staring at N with the most "What the actual fuck" look ever. Uzi finally breaking the silence to flip out on N for flirting with the demon tail that nearly destroyed the entire universe. N is panicking because he just flirted with the demon tail that nearly destroyed the entire universe, unable to help himself cause tail cyn just looks so cute and harmless like that and it felt natural to forget all the war crimes in the moment and be sweet back. And Cyn had retreated, still too flustered to butt in.
Eventually Uzi gives it a try to flirt back when she's alone with Cyn. And N was right, it felt easy to complement and fluster the demon tail. So she does it more often, until Cyn is less flustered and more emboldened by it, and only amps up the flirting, cause "her gf is finally loving her back". And Uzi is learning to love it.
Uzi is too embarrassed to flirt with Cyn in front of others, but when she hiding in her room with Nori for a bit of intimacy, Cyn pops up and is extra incessant about the flirting. Uzi tries to ignore and dismiss Cyn, but she calls her out lovingly in front of Nori for some of the flirty comments she's made as of recent. Uzi's flustered reaction is damning. And then Nori is flipping out on Uzi for flirting with the demon tail that nearly destroyed the entire universe.
Eventually, after a few more dates with Uzi, Nori relents and also starts flirting back with Cyn, finding herself enjoying it too.
Probably the only one of Uzi's partners that Cyn doesn't flirt with is V. If only because Cyn was never all that into her.
CYN/Solver treated Uzi like she was her ex gf, and Uzi then, quite literally, stole her heart. And now they're stuck together. Love.
Definitely could imagine an entire au where Solver, both as itself and as "Tessa", casually flirting with Uzi since they're a "couple" to her.
Also agreed, needs more Uznori 👍
Cyn having 0 power, and at the mercy of Uzi's whim, absolutely made her a complete menace. Pushing Uzi's buttons whenever she can, so that she can go "yeah but you're stuck with me <3". But over time the infatuation becomes this fucked up sense of genuine care. So she still loves to annoy and prank Uzi at any opportunity, but draws the line at actually doing anything to sabotage Uzi.
If her definitely girlfriend wants to date N or anyone else, she won't stop it from happening, because in her mind she wins as #1 partner as they'll literally be together forever and ever and ever and ever.
Cyn won't even spill to anyone that Uzi and Nori are secretly making out when Khan isn't home~
Also when watching the finale with my partner, we both got so hyped at Nori calling Uzi "babe". Yes I know that is a completely normal thing for parents to call their children, along with other common pet names, but I'll take what I can get. XD
Don't you just hate it when you and your mom are finally alone, about to smooch, when your apparent "girlfriend" starts flirting with her "ex", who is also your mom?
Hi, I'm Uzi Doorman, and this is my story on this annoying ass demon I have stuck in my tail.
(Or. Something XD)
Actually love this. Peak sitcom fanfic material. Add some polyamorous open relationship Nuzi in there, and let the pure chaos ensue.
Cyn would be happy to see both Uzi and Nori "getting along" :3
She's kinda sad that Uzi destroyed her (and Tessa's) body though. She could have helped them in so many different ways :/
Stockholm Syndrome is a bitch for her. In a good way, though
(Also, imagine if the Dino with the hat V had with her somehow was Alice. Probably impossible but it would be so funny if it was)
Lmao Cyn being tamed by the power of Stockholm Syndrome. Yes, exactly. Cyn would also delude herself into thinking her "gf" hooking up with her "ex", is basically the same thing as Cyn herself getting back together with Nori. And so Uzi is embarrassed and frustrated whenever Cyn pops out to flirt with her mom when the two are making out.
(Regardless of crack headcanon or not, imagine though V ends up dating the sentinel. Anyone who finds out about them gets a bullet and dino teeth through the head.)
So many murder drone thoughts. Some theories, some headcanons, some aus. All going too fast in my brain to keep up with.
But most importantly, I need Uzi and Nori to have a heart to heart, share a passionate and tender gaze, cause some unhinged chaos, then make-out sloppy style.
So admittedly I already had a Dollzi and Nova AU prior to episode 7, working with the assumption both Nori and Yeva were dead. But now with confirmation that Nori is alive (something I hadn't even considered before), screw that, all four of them will be alive in this. This post is also long as FUCK. So get ready for that.
Nori and Yeva are sisters. Nori is just a small few years older, and a lot more bold between the two. Yeva was a lot more passive, but still headstrong in her own way. They got into a lot of tuffles, and both were very introverted, but were otherwise inseparable. They always had feelings for each other. Neither of them acted on it however, as they feared the other would have been disgusted and the close bond they do have would be ruined forever. After the AS solver shit went down, and they'd escaped the labs, they were found by the nearest worker drone colony, untouched by the AS's influence. They didn't tell anyone they were related, wary that if AS ever found a way to circumvent the patch and either of them ended up succumbing to the virus again, they didn't want the other to be placed under suspicion by relation.
Each of them ended up marrying someone else, but it was hardly for much more than convenience. A mix of hoping that it would distract them from their true feelings, as well as having a buffer of "well now she can't get suspicious if I happen to act a bit too intimate with her because 'I have husband, he's the only one for me, hahaha, don't be ridiculous'." All while also being way too fucking intimate. Cuddling when they can and kissing each other on the cheek. Anything that can be excused with 'just gals being pals'.
Nori fell victim to the Disassembly Drones while Uzi was a baby. She genuinely thought she was going to die, and was stunned to find herself waking up later to crawl out the chest of her own body. Upon testing, she discovered she still had access to a weaker version of her solver powers. She was scared, and felt it wasn't safe to return to the colony. So she ran away, back to the cathedral, looking for answers to fix this.
Yeva was devastated, never quite the same afterwards. Eventually, she was attacked with her husband when Doll was a small child. Like Nori, her core remained unharmed, and woke up later. Realizing that if this happened to her, it could have happened to Nori too. And well, it would be impossible to safely explain why she's alive as a weird heart thing to the colony after multiple of them saw her die. So she took off in search of Nori.
They never did tell anyone they were sisters.
Fast forward several years, Uzi is still very unpopular, gets into regular trouble, and is bullied heavily. Doll isn't Lizzy's best friend, but she's still in the circle enough to be in the "sits at the lunch table with her" crowd. Doll always felt a connection to Uzi, due to having a parent die to the disassembly drones, and while Uzi's father is still alive, he may as well be dead with how horribly he neglects her. Plus the choker Uzi wears... it's like the bracelet her own mom had.
Now, Yeva was starting to lose control of her solver powers within a few weeks prior to her "death", she hid it well, but Doll noticed the broken mirrors. So Yeva told Doll that she was sick, that the bracelet she wore had a symbol that meant she was infected, but was doing what she could to get better. She was apologizing to Doll, warning her that she likely had passed it on to her, and that it was simply dormant. Should it ever wake, she needed to drink lots of oil to keep it at bay, don't be like her and neglect that need. Years later, when the virus woke, Doll took the bracelet from Yeva's corpse, a show of despair for inheriting the disease, and a promise to not let herself starve of oil.
Seeing that same symbol on Uzi's choker, Doll couldn't help but keep a close watch. So that if and when the virus woke in Uzi, then maybe she could do something to help, so Uzi wouldn't have to go through it alone like she currently was. It was through observation that she took notice of Khan's neglect, and everything else Uzi was struggling with. She took pity in her, and she wanted to do something to help, despite the virus having not even woken yet, but she's also kinda dreading it.
If she tried to befriend Uzi, it would be social suicide, not to mention Uzi is just a bit.... eeehh... much. She clearly struggles with socializing, and well... Doll does too, but she handles it by keeping a quiet, mysterious, lonewolf vibe... while Uzi is more... yikes.
But after one day where the bullying is particularly bad for Uzi, Doll ends up in the same room as her, just the two of them. Uzi's walls are fully up, aggression on full display and directed at Doll, recognizing her as someone in Lizzy's social circle. Doll decides instead of retaliating, to just stand there and take it, let Uzi get her frustrations out. It ends with Doll validating Uzi's feelings, and saying she'll see what she can do to get Lizzy and her friends to back off a bit. Uzi is stunned enough that a bunch of her anger manages to fizzle out, making the day feel not as bad as it was.
And sure enough, over the next few days, the intensity of the bullying really seemed to fade. Of course it didn't go away completely, but now she felt for the first time like she could at tolerate it a bit more easily.
Very slowly, Doll, in her own awkward anti-social way, starts bonding with Uzi. Uzi's complete social ineptitude is very cringe-worthy to deal with at first, but at the same time Doll genuinely starts finding the troubled teen rather endearing and fun to be around. They bond over their taste in music (alternative rock, goth punk, and death metal), and violent video games (first person shooters and beat-em-ups with tons of gore). And Doll even starts helping Uzi with pranking her bullies back.
Eventually Doll stops caring about her reputation, Uzi has become more important than any of that, and she lets herself be close. Let it be damned if everyone starts targeting her for it. Seeing Uzi smile and laugh, the hints of softness amidst her excitable chaos... Yup Doll definitely has a crush. Luckily for her, Uzi returns the feelings, and the two start dating.
As Doll initially feared, it was social suicide. And now the two of them are the least popular drones in the entire colony. Nothing that killing and eating those who take things a bit too far can't handle. Doll is extremely upset that Uzi ends up befriending N, when his squad killed her family. But upon hearing that N nearly died, sacrificing himself to spare Uzi, she made one exception.
Things go kinda similarly from there as in canon, but Doll and Uzi work together rather than against each other. I imagine with them dating, Uzi has a much stronger grip on her solver powers, but she never transforms, as she's much more resistant to the virus taking over, since Doll makes sure that Uzi also gets plenty of oil.
When they get to the underground, Alice sees their choker and bracelet. She's like "Well damn! If it ain't the children of Nori and Yeva (same maiden name)." Uzi and Doll are like "excuse me what?" Alice confirms that their moms were sisters who were inseparable, and the two have a sorta crisis realizing they are cousins. It's very awkward, but they try to ignore it because they don't want that to come between them. Mentally however both are wondering how the hell the knowledge they are related is only making their feelings for the other stronger.
No time to digest that info though. They are getting close to finding the solution to stopping Absolute Solver. V makes it with them in this, since the elevator wasn't sabotaged by Doll. However, Tessa still subtly threatens Doll and Uzi, which frightens the latter, and puts the former into the defensive. Doll grabs Uzi, running off with her right as the cave-in happens.
Doll lives as she isn't cornered by Cyn alone. Though with V's headstrong personality, it takes more time for Nori to find N and V in the cave-in, and get them to listen to her long enough to escape Absolute Solver. However, figuring out who the host is, is much easier when both Uzi and Doll are with each other. The only one left who could have possibly attacked them was Tessa. And oh-shit. They have to find them before Cynessa does.
Doll and Uzi are already fighting her when they find them, but are quickly losing, with neither of them able to use their powers to their full extent without at least one of them risking corruption. V blasts Cynessa's head right off. So Cyn switches hosts to Uzi. Doll hears Cyn call the core that's with N and V "Nori", and is shocked. It's easy to see the connection though. She has the same feisty attitude as Uzi, and similar mannerisms, yet unique in her self assured brazen. Oh she did not just feel her heart skip a beat for Uzi's mom. Or, wait... technically her own aunt? That's... don't focus on that right now!
They finally break Uzi free from the Solver's hold, and Nori is forced by Doll to introduce herself. And now that they aren't actively in battle, Nori finally takes the time to take in their presence. Uzi, her daughter, she's grown into such a beautiful woman. She can see bits of herself in her, and she is so so proud of her. And Doll, Yeva's daughter, her niece. She reminds her so much of her sister, just a bit more on the confrontational side. And the way she sees the two so cautiously close, it makes her ache so deeply for Yeva again. One of her biggest regrets, on top of having to miss seeing her daughter grow up, was leaving Yeva so suddenly like that, letting her believe she was dead. Is she still at the colony? Is she even alive? Will she have the chance to tell her sister the truth of her feelings?
Doll claims that her mother is dead, though seeing as they previously believed Nori to be dead, she isn't so sure anymore.

Details of where the AU goes from there are up to how the finale plays out. Mostly due to lack of full knowledge regarding world building. But it will eventually end up with all four of them alive and together. New bodies made for both Nori and Yeva. And Khan going through a mental crisis, lots of denial, and trying to figure out his place in Nori and Uzi's life. Due to how lengthy the AU explanation has become though, I think I will create a separate post later focusing solely on the relationship dynamics.
Thinking about the small moment where Cyn's left eye turned purple after Uzi hit her back with a counter in the finale just before the final battle.
Cyn doesn't not like being in control. But that moment where half her vision turned purple, and how Uzi did it so nonchalantly...
It was exhilarating, for her.
Definitely a thought of like. Uzi and Nori making both Cyn's eyes turn purple, or, somehow, Uzi and Doll making one eye purple, and the other red. Mind stuff with the Solver, who's curious on what her "lovers" would do, with power of the Solver's Host...
It's definitely a thought worth thinking on :3
It definitely turned Cyn on to be taken over so suddenly like that. But too busy trying to seize control for her plan to really analyze that thought.
But now with Uzi having near absolute control over Cyn, she now has plenty of time to internalize how much she actually enjoys being controlled~
Fantastic animation, the 3d animator in me was getting the hots for Cyn's body movements. Good ol' intense climactic fight choreography I anticipate from Murder Drones.
I knew V would come back, glad to have her. Disappointed in not getting to see Lizzy, Thad, and Khan take on J for a bit though.
Totally girlboss of Uzi to eat Cyn like that. Cyn must be the most annoying pet tail.
Needs more Nori, complete lack of Yeva.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GETS ANSWERED
I'd say it's obvious that they were setting up mysteries and plots to be explored over 2 seasons before being reduced to 1, but seeing as Liam admits to completely forgetting the vampire robots are vampires plot point, I wouldn't be surprised if all those mysteries were just completely forgotten.
