my favorite part is how they literally did understand what you were saying because they had to by definition in order to ~edit it like that 🤔

no offence but anyone who is reading something that goes beyond a refinery29 explanation of race requires uh work… which they were clearly capable of doing but chose to complain about it instead…… this isn’t really an issue of sentence structure but of discourse lol

So if they just had to put break were it made it easier to understand, which could be done be reading a sentence twice to add the appropriate breaks for them, that means they could understand it but didn’t want to put the energy into doing so. So it was accessible they just chose not to find op’s words worth the effort. 🤔🤔

This is a big problem for people with stuff like ADHD, brainfog, and dyslexia.
How fucking insulting. I’m two out of three in this sentence, and I’ve never had a problem reading Najia’s writing. Maybe it has more to do with the fact that it’s about race, so the whites are scrambling for any reason to dismiss it, and right now, ableism is hot because white people can’t fathom that POC can be disabled/neurodivergent too.
Not that we didn’t know this already.
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
