The “early morning” for the drones had begun, though actual time wise, the sun was just barely starting to get ready to go down, still somewhat in the air, still shining brightly enough

Within the bunker, in the now refurnished and slightly more homey “house”, A certain Oprcubhmm and K were a sleeping after managing to do what they wanted to do, get their household set up, during which, when it came to getting everything, Oprcubhmm managed to bring over the barrels she used for holding all the excess oil she produced, placed into the kitchen next to one of the counters.

Oppy was currently cuddled up with kumi in their bedroom, enjoying the calmness and relaxation of their embrace, their sprouting love evident, their tails intertwined together, being as closed to one another as possible, which reminded both of them that neither was going anywhere far.

Oppy mumbling cutely in her sleep mode, lightly snoring

K was sound asleep in Op’s arms, with her head nestled against her girlfriend’s chest. She purred softly as she snoozed, having what was quite possibly the most peaceful and comfortable slumber that she’d ever had in her life.

Eventually, she began to awaken from sleep mode. The disassembly drone let out a soft yawn, slowly opening her LED eyes.

" Mm… "

K hummed sleepily as she checked the time on her visor’s HUD. Almost dusk… as much as she didn’t want to get up or disturb Op’s slumber, she needed to wake her up so that they could watch the sunset together.

She decided to wake Op up as gently as possible. To do so, she leaned up and pressed a small kiss against her gal’s chin.

" Oppy… "

The fluffy-haired drone murmured softly, continuing to pepper Op’s face with a whole bunch of little kisses.

Oppy slowly woke up with her kay-kay still in her arms, she smiled and couldn't believe that her wildest dream had begun coming true, it made her feel all happy and giddy, it had also been the nicest sleep she had gotten since she had been turned into a drone, the strength of the body of K had allowed her act as a sort of weighted blanket and a comfort item as a two in one combo

"mmm..."

She was slow to stir but she did not want to get up yet and take chances with accidentally wake up K, not when her tail was intertwined with K's and Kumi looked like she was getting a good rest like she had

K had slept just as comfortably and soundly as Op did, she was out like a light. It was easily the best sleep she’d ever had… and that’s DEFINITELY saying something, considering how much she sleeps already.

Eventually, she began to awaken from sleep mode, letting out a soft, tired groan.

" Mm… "

The disassembly drone’s sleep mode display turned off, her eyes returning to her visor. She opened her eyes halfway and just laid there for a bit, until she was mostly awake. Then, she moved her head away from Op’s neck so that she could look into her new girlfriend’s eyes.

" Good morning, Op. "

K murmured, smiling warmly at her.

" So, that wasn’t all just a dream… thank goodness. "

K and @sdoprcubhmms-lil-hideout had spent the last couple of days painting the walls of their living unit, with each room having a sky-themed mural of its own. They probably would have gotten it done a bit faster if they weren’t constantly taking snuggle breaks, which often turned into full on naps. But hey, they’re happy, and that’s all that matters. Plus, their living unit looks amazing.

As another morning (…night?) dawned over Copper 9, Op would be awoken by a light nom to the neck. Looks like somebody didn’t wake up fast enough for her murder bot girlfriend’s liking.

" G’mornin, Op. "

K trilled, her voice muffled by the mouthful of Op’s neck. She let go and nuzzled up against her girlfriend with an innocent purr. The two of them were tangled up in a cuddly little pile in bed, as usual.
