"World Records with Mercedes-Benz". Two world speed record setting aircraft, both Daimler-Benz equipped. The Heinkel He 112U was in fact the He 100’s V8 prototype while the Messerschmitt Me 109R was the Me 209 V1 and their seriously abused souped-up Daimler Benz DB 601s were good for scrap metal after their record setting high speed runs.
