This has been honestly an absolute bitch of a week. My anxiety is so bad that it’s making me feel physically sick, every night getting to sleep has been the four-hour Why You Are Basically Gonna Die And/Or Be Screwed highlight reel, I can’t deal with the imminent arrival of the Orange Nazi and co, my financial situation has now caused me four months of unrelenting stress (thanks school of history... I appreciate) and now I’m trying to find freelance editing or tutoring work or basically anything I can do to make ends meet, and my damn student loans won’t defer automatically so I am gonna have to try to make the in-school application BECAUSE HELLO I AM A DOCTORAL STUDENT I HAVE NO MONEY, and might need to take more but I don’t know if an American loan can be used in the UK or if I can get a UK loan as an American and just

I did manage 17 pages on my new dissertation chapter this week, having stayed shut up in the house for four days out of five and slogging along doing nothing else and having no life as usual, so...
