Summer is officially over this weekend and I feel so frustrated looking back at how much time I spent depressed in bed or watching yt because I wanted to make something but I was either too burnt out or too paralized w anxiety. I was so excited for art fight this year but the burnout hit before I could even make a single piece. I want so badly to be kind to myself and tell myself that I have plenty of time to recover but. I'm 30 now and all of my creative potential seems to have withered. I only have enough energy to do occasional work, and can't hold down a regular job. My brain fog is so bad, most days I end up laying in bed wishing I could think of one thing I could bring myself to accomplish. I know this isn't normal, I know I am sick-- be it long covid or adhd or anxiety or even a deadly tumor that nobody has discovered yet. I dunno where to go from here tbh...I wish I hadn't burnt out in college, I wish I still had the energy to give myself the life I wanted. Send tweet.
