Can you give me any tips on how you got into Paramount? I just came to L.A. wanting to be an animator and a character designer. I am so ill informed and so naive on how to get into studios and make a career with my art.

Honestly I just got in because the art director on the film I was working on really liked my work from my tumblr account. He started following me online and when it came time to hire a character designer they emailed me. I had a portfolio and we had an interview and that was that.Just post your work online, even if you doing like it. Post it. Get in the habit of putting yourself out there. It’s how I got all my work really.
