That last reblog of feral!Hawks has got me thinking:

Keigo is not a violent man by nature, that much is true. He has been trained all his life how to maintain complete control over his emotions in stressful situations. However, the one thing he absolutely cannot control is how /angry/ he gets if something upsets his s/o. No, not really about the little things like they ran out of their favorite snack or maybe they lost an article of clothing they really liked. No, those things don’t bother him.

But he notices how you become withdrawn around that one coworker you’re not particularly fond of (you’ve never told him, but he can tell). He can see how they eye you up and down, touching you and trying to grab your hands in a bit-so-subtle manner that Keigo knows you absolutely LOATHE. Maybe it’s a blessing (or a curse) that you haven’t heard what his wings have picked up on, what vile things have spewed from this troglodyte’s mouth, and he’s forever thankful he opted to accompany you this evening.

Keigo keeps trying to pull you closer to him, hell even trying to put you behind him to put some distance between the two of you, but this asshole just isn’t picking up the hint.

it’s only when nobody else is watching that his mask begins to crack, making dead eye contact with your scumbag coworker. Sure, the number two hero is still smiling, but there’s a hollow, unfeeling look in his eyes that promises pain if he doesn’t /back the fuck off now/.

Surprisingly, your coworker mumbles something about someone, and shuffles off without saying much else. You’re not entirely sure what Keigo did, but you know he did something and for that you’re thankful.

Keigo is not a violent man. But Hell have mercy on anyone who comes after his little bird.
