I am really dissapointed with the lack of empathy of some of the the fanfic- readers. I know, as a Fic writer, we cannot please everyone and I know there are subjects where we are not experts and we can make mistakes. But I also know there is always room to be better. Hey I'm all for it, I had for years a beta who helped me a lot, but to leave comments only to make authors feel bad about themselves, comments that are really mean, hurtful and don't bring anything positive, only because of the power of being anonymous, it's just wrong.

I would like to say something to all the readers: be kind, be positive and, if you find yourself "better" than the fanficker in whatever it is the case, just make feedback that HELPS to be better, don't be mean or cruel. Well thought Feedback will always be better than cruel-full of hate- feedback. We are humans. We are not perfect.

Well, today was going to be a bummer. Peter and the Guardians had decided, much to his chagrin, that some new blood was vital to keep the team going and the first place they were going to search was Earth. Peter hated being back here, nothing but a cruel and sustained reminder of the life he’d had taken away, and nothing stood as a more cruel reminder than the X-Mansion. As soon as Peter learned of the school, he always wished his mutant abilities would manifest themself in some way, but they hadn’t. It wasn’t a heartbreaker, but it definitely sucked to have to go here solely to poach talent. He knocks on the door, and some weird goth girl showed up. Peter takes a crumpled out piece of paper and reads from it dryly.

“Greetings, madam, my name is Peter Quill aka Star Lord, and I am searching for new recruits for an exciting opportunity to join the Guardians of The Galaxy. If you are interested, please contact me, that’s Peter Quill aka Star Lord.”
